## What is Jeomatik?

Jeomatik is a professional field utility for live GPS coordinates, coordinate conversion, point management, map workflows, AR guidance and target navigation.

Features:
- View live latitude, longitude, altitude, sea depth, horizontal accuracy and vertical accuracy.
- Work with geographic WGS84, ITRF96 and ED50 coordinate systems, including UTM and TM projections.
- Calculate geoid undulation and Helmert height with geoid-model support.
- Use elevation-service support for selected target points and AR workflows.
- Save, edit, search, import and export points with CSV, KML and KMZ workflows.
- Import KML/KMZ files from other apps and display points, lines and polygons on the map.
- Manage imported line layers, show/hide them and focus the map on selected geometry.
- Use stakeout mode and AR mode to guide field work toward selected target points and imported geometries.
- Monitor speed with a smooth analog gauge and GPS-based speed values.

Jeomatik is designed for surveying, mapping, engineering, field checks and navigation workflows where readable geographic data matters.

### 1.7 — 2026-06-10

Coordinate format selection moved to its own Settings page, with WGS84 Geographic kept pinned as the first format. Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Live Activity was added for the active target and can now be turned off from Settings > General. The Speed view now includes knots and updated dial ranges. Offline MBTiles, AR target guidance, geoid/elevation calculations, and multilingual Settings text were improved.

Added live map tracking: long-press the current-location control to follow your position, with automatic recentering that preserves zoom even after panning. Added sea-depth retrieval through EMODnet. AR target markers and labels have been refined. Geoid undulation, ellipsoidal height and target elevation handling have been improved. The SPP live coordinates view has been updated. KML/KMZ import messages and overall stability have been improved.

Added AR point/line/polygon viewing, elevation-service support, line layer management, long-press map point saving, improved KML/KMZ workflows, and a smoother speed gauge.

This update improves point save/edit tools, adds CSV/KML import-export, enhances stakeout mode and map tools, expands the SPP screen, and improves overall stability.
