For the vast trove of information, works, art, sciences, belief systems, etc. that exist in our world, the proliferate number of strictly Christian bible clues and categories make this game fee like an unwanted trip to a ‘looking to convert you’ event. I’m not sure if this is a result of a single or multiple factors (a new host, the current “political” environment …). I’ve even noticed recently that the television show is leaning heavier on the Christian categories and clues. It’s a shame really, Jeopardy has always been a place that celebrated the wide, diverse nature of humanity. So, I’ve deleted the game from my device and won’t be downloading it again. Hopefully the current path the enterprise is on will be abandoned before too many steps are trod upon it. ### 2/5 — Don’t bother if you expect a challenge *2025-04-15, version 13.0.5* The questions were insultingly easy. Deleted the app after a few minutes of play. ### 2/5 — Don’t like the new version *2025-01-18* I played the original version of this game for several years and found it fun and challenging. Then without warning the game was blank when I loaded it. Nothing I did to fix it worked, so I was forced to delete and reload the game. I lost all the money and the stars I had won, and in return I received a game which is elementary and pedestrian that I got bored after ten minutes. Not a good exchange. If you are intelligent and have a large vocabulary, skip downloading the game. ### 2/5 — Simplistic *2024-10-17, version 13.0.5* Very basic and boring for an adult; much too simplistic answers (hot, rain, red, shoe, etc.) ### 4/5 — Gorgeous game *2024-09-25, version 13.0.5* eye-popping colours, clear neatly designed graphics and rewarding sound effects make it a standout ASMR experience. The words are a bit too easy though, and only really bad thing is the soundtrack, which is extremely annoying and monotonous. Needs something upbeat like the Seaworld tycoon tracks, or fishdom ### 2/5 — Not connected to internet. *2024-02-22, version 13.0.3* I just downloaded this game a few days ago and I really like it but it says I’m not connected to the internet. All my other games the internet works fine. I can’t connect my Facebook or watch any of the rewarded ads. Please fix this. ### 2/5 — Game stopped working *2023-10-19* I have been playing and enjoying Words for five months now and accumulated quite a high score. Then suddenly the game has stopped working. I have tried reinstalling three times and doing a backup from the cloud and it still will not work. It shows my score at the top but then a blank blue screen with only music playing. I have not been able to get in contact with support at all. No one has responded to my messages which is very frustrating as this is one of my favorite apps. Shame on you ### 1/5 — What game? *2021-10-19, version 12.0.1* Game says loading, then gets to 30% and sits there… Not sure if no game is worse than a bad game but it certainly isn’t a good game. ### 1/5 — Make it Worse Every Update *2021-07-31, version 12.0.0* When I downloaded this several months ago it was a great game. Then they issued an update changing the structure of the game making it harder so you’ll use more tokens. Today, they issued an update cutting the daily rewards by 90 percent. Also if you watch ads for coins, you went from 8000 tokens to about 1500 AND goes down each time you watch another ad. Clearly they are trying to squeeze you into buying more tokens. I won’t do it. As I’ve said before, keep Google nearby if you get stuck & check out jeopardywords.com for answers to stumpers. I have been charged twice and have nothing to show for it. I’ve tried restoring purchases and get an error. Both purchases have gone through apple and I’ve been charged for them. This is theft. This company is stealing from people. I have opened a complaint with this company and am awaiting a response but if I am not refunded, I will be opening a formal complaint with Apple and the Better Business Bureau and I implore everyone that has been screwed by this company to do the same thing. Companies like this keep stealing from people because nobody will do anything about it. Delete their game, trash their name, and make sure others don’t become victims of big business. This is wrong and this company should be ashamed of themselves. If purchases aren’t available, it shouldn’t even be an option. They know exactly what they’re doing. Take care. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Jeopardy *2022-09-13* This evening game show in NM, United States, is the funniest shows when the questions are hard to answer especially at home because every person who tries to answers doesn’t really know the correct answer so, when the people at home try, the answers are always simple. They’re funny simple because the family people who are answering make comments to each other about trying to know information that is studied. And no one trying at home has ever really studied to get a correct answer and it’s funny because the answers are then so simple, they are dumb answers. It’s still really funny to watch, the people who are on the show are more smart than people at home, & that is NOT true.
