It is only 1 payment to unlock the content. The reason behind this is for travelers to be able to enjoy everything in an offline mode without paying for roaming charges while they travel. Even being able to use geolocalization capabilities such as GPS or Augmented Reality without being connected to your cell phone provider. Thank you. ### 1/5 — beware! *2018-03-01* i downloaded the free version and offers to upgrade continually appeared making it difficult to use. Today i pulled the iPhone out of my purse and found that somehow without my doing anything the app had upgraded itself and i was charged for it **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. This wasn't it. The app has poor search capability and is mostly a limited collection of pictures and listings of restaurants and hotels that you can easily find online just by Googling. Map graphics is much less attractive than other apps such as Google Maps and navigation info is minimal. It changes the way you travel! ### 2/5 — Can't use on iPhone and iPad *2017-09-02* I downloaded the app and purchased the extra maps from my iPad only to find that my purchases do not show up on my iPhone. I tried restore purchases, but that did not help.
