## What is Jerusalem V Tours?

Jerusalem Virtual Tours application (Jerusalem V-Tours) is an electronic platform developed for tourists, and narrates the history of Jerusalem form an Arab Palestinian perspective.   Burj Alluqluq Social Center Society decided to develop an electronic application that provides the Palestinian historical narrative for the historical and archeological sites located inside the Old City of Jerusalem. Our goal is to provide brief and direct information about the landmarks of the City in 5 languages. The landmarks that will be included in the application are the historical fountains, gates, and domes of Jerusalem, in addition to the wall of the Old City and other buildings with historical significance.Each group of landmarks is preceded with an introductory paragraph with a brief about these sites. Then particular information about each site is provided. This information includes the site’s name, architectural characteristics, location, and other important information. The information is provided in form of text, pictures, videos, and sound recordings. Our utmost goal in providing this information is providing brief information that will encourage visitors to read more about each site.The application presents the information using 4 methods. First, information is provided in a list containing 4 Jerusalemite paths and tracks, which include historical, religious, and other important landmarks. Second, information provided through taking pictures for each landmark. As soon as the visitor takes a picture of a landmark, the information related to this landmark will be provided. The third method enables visitors to tour the City using a map, and 360 degrees pictures of Jerusalem. The fourth and last method is “nearby sites”, through which visitors will be informed of all important site surrounding them.All information and methods are provided in 5 languages, in order to make it easier for tourists and visitors to know the City and access all needed information. Dr. Yousef Natsheh developed all historical and religious data. Afterwards, the content was edited by historians and specialists, both experts on Islamic and Christian history. Editors are Dr. Nazmi Jubah, Mr. Khalil Sabri, Mr. Muntaser Idkaidek, and Mr. Samir Arman. Furthermore, the information was revised by the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism. Project implemented by :Burj Alluqluq Social Center Society.

 تطبيق الكتروني ينقل الرواية الفلسطينية التاريخية حول المواقع التاريخية والمعالم الاثرية بالبلدة القديمة من القدس، بحيث  يتم تعميم ونشر معلومات مختصرة ومباشرة عن العديد من معالم المدينة في 5 لغات عالمية، وقد حددت المعالم بأسبلة القدس التاريخية وأبواب وسور القدس وزوايا وقباب القدس، علاوة على المباني التاريخية في المدينة.
وقد استهلت كل مجموعة بمقدمة تعريفية موجزة عن هذه المباني اعقبها لمحة عن كل معلم شملت اسمه، وصفته المعمارية، موقعه، وغيرها من المعطيات الهامة نصاً، صورة، فيديو وصوت، وهدف هذه المعلومات في الدرجة الاولى الايجاز والإفادة وان تحفز المهتم الى مزيد من الاطلاع والقراءة.

ويتضمن التطبيق 4 أساليب في عرض المعلومات، في البداية قائمة تضمن 4 مسارات مقدسية ومواقع تاريخية تشمل محطات ومعالم دينية وتاريخية، ثانياً خدمة تصوير المحطة، بمجرد تصوير المحطة يتم اعطاءك معلومات حول المعلم المقابل لك، والخيار الثالث تستطيع من خلاله السير في مدينة القدس من خلال الخريطة والتجول في صور 360 لمدينة القدس، ويملك المستخدم الخيار الرابع والأخير "المواقع المجاورة" إمكانية اظهار كل ما يحيط بك من معالم مهمة في القدس.

وكل المعلومات والأساليب في التطبيق تستخدم 5 لغات بهدف مساعدة السياح القادمين للتعرف على مدينة القدس مع تبسيط البحث والوصول الى المعلومات، وقد قام الدكتور يوسف النتشة بكتابة المواد التاريخية والدينية، مع تدقيق عدد من المهتمين في الجانبين الإسلامي والمسيحي، وهم الدكتور نظمي الجعبة، الأستاذ خليل صبري، الأستاذ منتصر ادكيدك، الأستاذ سمير عرمان، وكذلك تم تدقيق المواد من وزارة السياحة الفلسطينية.
