Worked great the first time but won’t seem to charge enough to work as long as they claim 65 min. Battery short lived. And the battery/software board does not stay contained in the chamber when you pull the charging cord out, but slides back in easily. Obviously cheaply made to be frank. But having to connect the product through it’s own wifi connection that the product transmits was a bit odd. Never experienced a product like that before but maybe that’s common practice, I am not sure. And perhaps it’s just paranoia but I can’t help but wonder if it could be a clever way to install malware to user’s phones. I’ve been having a lot of intermittent issues on my phone lately (and I’m tech savvy) that may suggest something nefarious is going on with my accounts. Not saying this app caused the issues, but I just want people to be mindful of possibilities incase they’re also experiencing similar concerns since downloading and connecting to the product. I have deleted it to be safe. The app will ask if I want to join. The blue light on the device will stop flashing and go solid. The app will show its trying to connect, and then stops. The app never recognizes that the device is connected. It seems that the device is working, but the app is defective. That’s just a guess. I’m going to return it to Amazon. Go to your network settings on your device. I’m using an iPad and an iPhone so I went to settings/Wi-Fi. 2. Turn on the camera unit by Preston holding the button for 2 to 3 seconds. The button light will turn on and will be flashing, and will remain flashing until it’s connected to your phone iPad. Once connected to Wi-Fi on your device, the light will go solid. 3. in your Wi-Fi settings, you will see a new network appear named JetHome-xx-xxxxxx. select that network. It will display as unsecured network and may also say no Internet connection. This is normal. 4. Open up your.JetHome app. If it shows as not being connected, and just takes you back to the network settings, on the app click on user level and click on confirm that you are the primary user. Once I did this, it showed that the device was connected to the jet home app, and if I click on start, I will see the camera. I think they must’ve changed either the app or the firmware on the camera device, possibly both. But this does work. It’s just a matter of getting it to connect. I find it once it’s connected. All you have to do is turn the camera unit on go to your settings and select, the cameras, private, and then when you open the app, it will show connected and you can click on start. Reviewer was got mistaken advice about network, do not need to reconfigure a thing: the ear-pick generates its own WiFi and in settings simply choose the network that starts with Jes 2. Reviewer mistaken: very easy for app to connect to the air pick, if you first establish its local WiFi using settings. I have nothing whatever to do with this company, just don’t want other people to be confused by the mistakes shown by the one-star reviews. BTW, this is a camera that could be used in other places, you can look into your nose (like in a doctor’s exam: you could look inside a hard-to-reach place on equipment or car or models, etc. The focus is fixed at very close objects.
