### 3/5 — Has some great points but a lot of room for improvement

*2026-02-03, version 1.3.0*

I’ve really enjoyed the game thus far, I haven’t quite beaten master but I think I’m close. My biggest issue with the game is that it gives you tons of riders and the ability to have multiple dragons, but you can only ever use one dragon and rider at a time. It makes it quite difficult to level up especially as you get higher star dragons, who have higher level caps and have to start all the way at the bottom ranks. A system where unused dragons and riders can gain exp would be amazing. If they could also earn some more passive income it would feel less like I’m juggling the finances week to week. I enjoy the game a lot but this particular set of issues is pushing me to shelving it.

### 4/5 — Fun but…

*2025-11-12, version 1.3.0*

Fun but Romana and Placidia are way too hard to beat. Pls fix this
Also I don’t think this has been updated in years bruh

### 3/5 — Um I don’t know what to say? I do like it and I don’t like it

*2025-06-03*

I’m only giving it 3 stars because one of the guys that you race and you beat him in the race he says a bad word the d word 2 times ö so can you please fix that I hope you have a good day

### 2/5 — I just couldn’t get into it

*2025-04-11, version 1.2.0*

I just couldn’t get into it. The game looks like it would be fun but the introductory tutorial left me confused. I tried to play it twice and just wasn’t able to get into it. I’m not sure if it is a problem of too much information or too little, a lot of mechanics where introduced quickly (perhaps without enough detailed guidance to help me pick between characteristics or know what to do) in addition to introducing the story line. The works lore does feel more fleshed out than I was expecting but it plus the mechanics where a lot to take in.

### 4/5 — No updates

*2025-03-19, version 1.2.0*

Problem is most of these games get no updates. You put time in for nothing

### 3/5 — Fun but glitch

*2024-10-14, version 1.2.0*

I love the game I’ve played it for hours but there’s an annoying glitch that after finishing the grand final races the apps crash and when I get back in I have to do all three races again. This has also happened with a union race. This takes some of the fun out of it.

### 3/5 — The Owen rival is to hard to beat!

*2024-07-10, version 1.2.0*

THIS IS TRASH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS SO HARD!!!!!!
🤬

### 5/5 — Amazing! Just a couple things I think you could add…

*2024-07-08, version 1.2.0*

I love this game so much, the graphics, the gameplay and more. It’s very addicting. I just feel like what dragons your getting, you should be able to choose their colors, so that your dragon, is probably different than most other dragons. Or that you could breed your OWN dragons together. Overall this is a good game. I think that the game would be more interesting and fun!

### 5/5 — Please update

*2024-06-20*

More dragon space, races that doesn’t use a week of the competition, and what happen after the sequel!!

Keep up, I really like this game!

### 4/5 — Nice game!

*2024-05-01, version 1.2.0*

Jet Dragon is a fun game! If you love horse racing, you’ll understand the breeding aspect of it. Overall it is simple. I do think there is room for improvement as far as the training regimens for the rider goes. I do think there should be a legend GP championship that does have an entrance fee, whereupon you’ll have to have at least 4 legend dragons. I have noticed that if you start a new game you can’t win a GP championship. Minor issues but still an issue.

### 5/5 — Criminally Underrated

*2024-04-28, version 1.2.0*

This game is first of all a great game, however it may not be the game you expect it to be. This game is as much management and strategy if not more than racing. When fighting against rivals your victories (at least for me) will feel earned.
Also it’s a DRAGON game that isn’t just a boring cash grab
The Management:
You will have to manage your riders as well as what facilities they work in. This matters as you will not have enough riders for your facilities (which require riders to level up) for a long time if at all. You also have to manage your riders and dragons training, deciding who will race and who will train, though managing exhaustion, unfortunately this will only matter when maturing a new dragon, or when a dragon or rider levels up which gets rid of some of the depth.

Don’t let this intimidate you as most of this is subconscious and you will be able to do these things very easily.
Also you can do festas to make a large amount of money at the cost of not running a race that week.

The Strategy:
The strategy of this game comes from breeding your dragons as well as the races they partake in. Breeding dragons requires money, and often more of it to do so successfully, you will have to choose one or two stats to specialize in, as well as making sure that the abilities compliment this, arguably the most important thing though is the quality of dragon, you need to make sure that the stats you gain will be able to grow over time, and not be stuck at a low level to to a poor decision of partners. I still need to work on this as I often fixate on stats.

The Racing.
The races are also more strategy than mechanical skill, operating as more of a chaotic chess game than a race, this is where a choice of dragon and rider will be made and therefore your abilities for that match. Some dragons can use breath weapons, slowing opponents ahead to take the lead, some can use jet abilities, which dramatically increase your acceleration and speed for a short time, and some can utilize chaff to maintain their lead by essentially using their breath weapon behind them. Some dragons will be able to do two of these things especially if the right rider is chosen for them that race. You can also boost to maintain your speed when slowing or to increase your speed to overtake an opponent. Some riders will increase your boosts acceleration, conditionally or all the time (at the cost of increased stamina usage) as well as boosting other stats or dragon abilities.

TLDR
Funny dragon game very fun download it now I’m in your walls

### 5/5 — I really like this game — but it could use a much better knowledge base.

*2024-04-19, version 1.2.0*

Like the title says, this is a very fun game with gorgeous graphics (but with quite simple gameplay mechanics, really. It's a pretty casual game.) The encyclopedia is cool for describing the dragons but the online glossary thing is kinda worthless except for lore if you are into that kind of thing. In really just spitballing on a lot of it though, especially when it comes to breeding and powers. "Growth period" "elements" "cross species bonus" "cross element bonus" etc. Everything needs to have explanations when you hover over them, click them, or at least have an encyclopedia entry for them, as they're not as obvious as the devs think.

I know that's a lot of what sounds like negative feedback, but it's mostly just for the devs and doesn't significantly hinder the fun I'm having with it. Great game!

### 5/5 — Addicting

*2024-04-15, version 1.2.0*

I’m able to play for hours as I try to figure out all the many aspects of this game. Now that several of my dragons are legends, the race options have (again) drawn me deeper into figuring out how to get the most out of your dragon for each race. This is as much a strategy game as any I’ve played. What dragon and rider combo to pick for each type of race and weather pattern? How to maximize your (twice a season) sale of your wares, still is a head scratcher. I’ve been playing for weeks and learn something new about the game every day. Others have likened this game to a horse racing simulator. All I know is this is a game with very cool dragons that take a lot of strategy and execution to win a race, no matter what level your dragon and rider are.

### 3/5 — Great Breeding/Racing Sim but the UX..

*2024-01-31, version 1.2.0*

This game is a fantastic breeding and racing sim I thoroughly enjoyed. The major downside is you’ll spend about 1/10 of your time playing and the other 9/10 of your time skipping bloat cutscenes that are input only to boost playtime stats. If they removed these I’d easily give it 5*.

### 2/5 — Graphics and looks

*2023-12-18, version 1.2.0*

The 2 stars are for the graphics and looks, the minus 3 stars are for the lack of any real gameplay

### 2/5 — Fun until latest update

*2023-09-19, version 1.1.0*

Normally I wouldn’t play a game like this but initially I found it a perfect mixture of challenging and fun.

Then last month you released an update that made the game infinitely more challenging than fun. Today I think I’ve reached my limit.

There’s still no information about breeding dragons or breeding rights and I haven’t won a race since the update and I play often.

Maybe I’ll try again if this is updated in the future if you address some of these issues.

### 5/5 — A great dragon raising game!!

*2023-09-05*

This game is sometimes misinterpreted as a racing game by other reviewers, but they are misleading you, this game is actually a dragon breeding and racing game and is very enjoyable when played as such but even then the actual races have a lot of depth later on and I just wish that there was more content

### 5/5 — IN LOVE

*2023-08-30, version 1.1.0*

i literally just downloaded this game a day or two ago and it’s VERY addicting to me. the animations are AMAZING and i love how you actually have to try to get better things in the game instead of half trying and not really having to do anything the whole time. 10/10

### 3/5 — Steering

*2023-08-14, version 1.0.3*

Can you make some kind of free fire/world mode? It’s a good game just it would be nice if it had steering.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2026-03-23, version 1.3.0*

Used to work but now the app just won’t open no matter how much I tap on it. Disappointing

### 1/5 — Great concept, terrible execution l

*2023-07-30, version 1.0.3*

After sitting through a half hour of tutorial and bad dialog, which is completely insane for a mobile game, you learn the racing is almost entirely non interactive, except for one button to press. And there’s little feedback that your actions affect the race at all. Maybe they should have spent some of their obviously massive art budget on making a game that’s fun to play, because the only thing this has going for it is that it’s pretty to look at.

### 1/5 — Too few dragons, too many humans.

*2023-07-28, version 1.0.3*

I installed this game because the name is 'Jet DRAGON". But I've seen TOO MANY HUMANS for three minutes since I started. Very very VERY disappointed. If I wanna see humans, I would just go outside and see them. Decrease hair-less apes and add more dragons.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2023-06-21, version 1.0.1*

Downloaded this because it looked cool, the first 10 minutes of gameplay proved it was just looks. Let us fly the dragons! Pressing a bunch of menu buttons is not flying a dragon.

### 1/5 — Useless game

*2023-06-21, version 1.0.1*

You Can’t even control the dragon in the race, all you can do is press boost once in a while. No steering. Nothing

### 1/5 — Not what I was expecting

*2023-06-18, version 1.0.1*

Downloaded this game, expecting it to be an exciting racing game, but with dragons instead of cars. Instead you just press a button at set times while your dragon follows a predetermined course.

Maybe there is more to this game as you progress, but I lost interest straight away and deleted the game within 5 minutes.

### 1/5 — Not for me.

*2023-06-17, version 1.0.1*

Uninspired graphics. Gameplay seems to be hit the button to use your ability… which is hardly gameplay. “Racing” Is more like “Watch a video of tour dragons on flight” meh.
Didn’t get part the tutorial “race”

### 1/5 — Undercooked and underwhelming

*2023-06-17, version 1.0.1*

This game could be so much more than an idle clicker. It’s fully single player so for those wanting to “race” others around the world… that’s a no go. You have no control over where the dragon goes, it’s on rails and you just press a button to make the dragon go faster or shoot a fireball. This game is a glorified VN that gives almost no freedom to the player.

### 1/5 — Lame.

*2023-06-17, version 1.0.1*

Lame boring no control of movement just a simple button push here and there. Lacks integrity and not fun gameplay.

### 1/5 — Complex

*2023-06-16, version 1.0.1*

This game has too many complex pieces for me to get interested. I didn’t like being forced to listen to the story. I also don’t like having to wait to earn dragons and riders.

Overall, this game is not what I expected.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Addicting! — Would love to see it expanded on

*2026-01-16, version 1.3.0*

Personally I’ve been really enjoying the game, as someone who used to play games like monster rancher and other sims I find the play style fun. Now I do wish there was more I could do with my dragons aside from just the racing, but the gameplay pattern is kinda addictive to me at least. Definitely not for everyone as it’s kinda grindy at times but overall I’ve been having fun. If an expanded version of something like this ever came to steam id totally buy it! I also crave being able to raise dragons

### 5/5 — Shia

*2026-01-04, version 1.3.0*

Please do not let anyone beat me

### 5/5 — 🙇‍♂️

*2025-07-12, version 1.3.0*

I’m taking a moment to write this review, with the team behind Jet Dragon in mind. This isn’t a complaint, or a request. It’s a thank you.

The game came out more than two years ago. I launched it without much expectation, not a big fan of racing games, and not exactly sold on the idea of a “dragon racer”. But Jet Dragon wasn’t really a racing game. It’s a quiet, thoughtful experience. A rhythm more than a rush. A beautifully stylized world with clear care and respect for the player (redefined more acutely later as Nuturing simulation)

What you built is a small gem. A singular title with its own tone, its own pace. It doesn’t chase trends. It’s not a reskin. It’s not a cash grab. And that, in itself, is rare enough to be noticed.

I was already surprised (and grateful) when the storyline received a sequel update. I honestly never expected anything more (though I wished for it). And yet, this recent update came out, tying things together, expanding the post-endgame world, and giving closure to the story. I only found it by chance, months later, and that says a lot.

Because that’s the one sadness I carry here: Apple Arcade never really gave Jet Dragon the spotlight it deserved. It’s a niche game, sure: But a brave one! Thoughtful. Polished. Gentle in its loop, without being dull. And I wish more people had the chance to see that.

So this is mostly a message of recognition. For the extra steps you’ve taken, even with limited visibility. For not abandoning the game. For delivering something that feels whole, complete and strangely meditative.

Thank you again for the journey. I’ll likely never finish all the postgame content (too much grinding here 😅), but I still carry the experience fondly.

You made something special.

### 5/5 — One of my favourite games

*2025-07-08, version 1.3.0*

Like the title suggests I love it, the gameplay has a good amount of repetition to keep me engaged.
I find the fatigue system that the dragons and riders have to be an enjoyable challenge that also encourages me to use all my riders as I likely would only use one or two otherwise.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-05-18, version 1.3.0*

I gave this a 5 star rating because: 1. Excellent graphics!

2. Eggs that hatch into baby dragon!

3. NO ADS!!!!!!!!

I would give it a 200 if I could!

### 5/5 — A great dragon raising game!!

*2025-03-07, version 1.2.0*

This game is sometimes misinterpreted as a racing game by other reviewers, but they are misleading you, this game is actually a dragon breeding and racing game and is very enjoyable when played as such but even then the actual races have a lot of depth later on and I just wish that there was more content

### 5/5 — My kinda game

*2024-11-19, version 1.2.0*

In some ways this game fills the hole left behind by sonic adventure 2’s chao garden. Obviously it’s not the same but if I make a game/project that aims to capture that (which I probably will) I’ll also take inspiration from this game. I really like games that use a daily/weekly system where time progresses when you play, rather than when real days pass. I feel like there’s room for specialized runs of this game and optimization. I like it when time and my choices mean something. I like that I can choose a playstyle and train the characters and dragons that play into that, while always having the chance to try a different one if I want, though it would take some time to build up (it wouldn’t be worth it otherwise). I like that individual dragons need to rank up to try more challenging races. I like that dragons and riders get tired. I love this type of game, and that even though when I first played it, I loved and played it for a while before dropping it, but then it stayed on my mind and I came back. Started a new file.

### 5/5 — An update would be terrific !

*2024-11-16, version 1.2.0*

Keep up, I really liked this game!

Hint: More dragon space, races that doesn’t use a week of the competition, and what happen after the sequel!!??

Hope you’re not giving up on this one!

### 5/5 — A great game!

*2024-11-09, version 1.2.0*

Although it’s confusing in some parts when you don’t have help, it is still
a fun game! The dragons are creative-looking, though their names need more work on.The graphics are incredible and won’t strain your eyes.
(unless you’ve played on it a little too much)Overall, it is a great video game!

### 5/5 — SO CUTE 🥰

*2024-11-05, version 1.2.0*

It’s perfect it’s so cute there’s zero add and it’s just so cute. I was looking for a new game on my iPad and then I always love racing dragons and I was like this is perfect so you need to download THIS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
