I win almost all the games I play by a couple of seconds and it’s quite boring. Skill-based matchmaking would hopefully put me in more challenging games. I don’t mind having to wait a bit longer to be placed in a lobby. The bugs, which are what prompted me to leave a review, are really annoying. I’ve had some audio bugs where the beeps for the race start countdown would never end, when the button press audio would loop repeatedly. I’ve also had some gameplay bugs but only today. In one match, it appeared that someone joined the race near the end and spawned ahead of me making me come 2nd. In another 2 games today, I’ve had invisible players who I can collide with but not see. The game is really fun when it works and I’m in a challenging lobby. And I don’t really care about cosmetics so Halfbrick+ being a bit naff isn’t a concern for me. Runs well on my base model M5 iPad Pro ### 2/5 — Was hoping for more *2026-04-30, version 1.0.5* Asked on Jetpack Joyride I was hoping for so much more from this game. The controls are awful and make it frustrating and unplayable. I ended up deleting before finishing the first race. ### 3/5 — Improvements needed *2026-04-22* • Battery drain is insane, needs a battery saver option & general improvements • Sometimes lobbies become bugged • Desync issues • Lag switch(?) cheaters? To the point where it’s literally impossible to control. In pretty much all other racing games the controls can be customisable, but not in this one. Nach 10 Minuten spielen viel mir auf, dass es genau dass ist nur mit der verrücktesten Steuerung jemals. Zusätzlich ist man langsam wie sonst was sodass es fragwürdig erscheint das Spiel unter der Kategorie Rennsport zu veröffentlichen. Die Fahrzeuge erinnern an eine Mischung aus jetpack und Brainrot. Und um sie einzufordern wird zusätzlich eine weitere App benötigt, die ebenfalls schlecht ist. Insgesamt die schlechtesten 10 Minuten meines sonst pfiffigen Lebens daher 1 Stern auch wenn sich darüber streiten lässt ob dieser wirklich verdient ist. **Developer response:** Hallo, vielen Dank für diese Bewertung und das Feedback. Wir wollen keine anderen Kart-Rennspiele kopieren und sind der Meinung, dass die Steuerungsmechanik des Boostens an den Wänden ein einzigartiger Aspekt von JJ Racing ist. Das ist fast unerlässlich, um Geschwindigkeit aufzunehmen – probier es doch bitte mal aus 🫡. Alle Schiffsdesigns sind so weit wie möglich von „Brainrot“ entfernt und lediglich angepasste Versionen der ursprünglichen Jetpacks aus Jetpack Joyride. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass ihr das Spiel ausprobiert und uns eure Meinung mitteilt – vielen Dank dafür.
