Jetting for Dell'Orto PHBH and PHBG carburettors. Tell it your vehicle and the weather, and it tells you what to fit. The mixture your engine gets changes with the air. A cold morning at sea level and a hot afternoon up in the mountains are not the same air, and the jet that was right for one runs lean or rich in the other. This app does that arithmetic for you. A SETUP FOR YOUR VEHICLE Pick it from the catalogue and start from its factory setting: - Aprilia RS125, Futura SP 125, Classic 125, Red Rose 125, Tuono 125, AF1 125 and Custom. - Cagiva Mito 125. - Honda NSR Raiden 125. - Husqvarna WRE and SM 125, and 503S 50. - Gilera, with power jet. - Moto Guzzi Nevada V35 and V65 Florida. - Piaggio Ciao 50 and Super Bravo. - 60 cc karting: Vortex Mini ROK and Mini ROK U10, plus IAME Gazelle and Water Swift. - Vespa and Lambretta converted to PHBH 30. - Minarelli AM6 with PHBG. OR JUST BY CARBURETTOR Not on the list? Tell it which PHBH or PHBG you have, from 15 to 30 mm, in two or four stroke, and it starts from the setting Dell'Orto ships that carburettor with. WEATHER, WHICH IS THE POINT Temperature, humidity, pressure and altitude give the air density, and the air density gives the jet. Take the readings from the nearest weather station, let the GPS give you the altitude, or type it all in by hand with no coverage at all, which is the usual thing in a paddock. EXHAUST, AIR FILTER AND CYLINDER A racing exhaust asks for more fuel. An open filter, more still, and more than most people think. Say what you have fitted and the recommendation moves with it. FINE TUNING If your engine asks for more or less than expected, correct it on high, mid and low separately, and the app remembers it for that engine. MIXTURE GRAPH Every setup is drawn as an air/fuel ratio curve across nine throttle openings, from idle to wide open. At a glance you see where one runs richer than another and at which part of the range — exactly what a list of jet numbers cannot show you. The axis centres on the setup that works for you. MIX CALCULATOR Fuel, oil and ratio: type any two and it gives you the third. In litres, millilitres, US or imperial gallons and ounces, with the ratio shown as a percentage and as 1:n at the same time. One tap sends it into the jetting calculation. LOGBOOK Save every session: what you fitted, what the app recommended, the weather at that moment and how it went. Over time you get your own record of what works. Exports to CSV. NEEDLE COMPARATOR Overlays two needles of the X or W series and shows where one runs richer than the other, and at which throttle opening. PLACES 112 circuits from 21 countries with their altitude, which is the figure that really moves the setup. Search by name and it goes in on its own. SHARING Send a setup as a card over WhatsApp or email.
