## What is Jetting for Husky 2T?

This app provides, using temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure and oil-mix ratio, a recommendation about the jetting configuration to use for Husqvarna 2-stroke MX and enduro bikes (TC, TE and TX models).

In order to get the weather values, the application can use the location service (GPS or WiFi) to obtain the position and altitude, and the network connection to get the temperature, pressure and humidity from the nearest weather station. Nevertheless, the application can run without GPS, WiFi and internet connection, in this case, the user has to give the weather data.

The application is made up of four tabs that are described next:

- Results: in this tab, the recommended main jet, needle type and clip position, pilot jet and air screw position are shown (screw position is expressed in turns from fully tightened). These data are calculated depending on the weather conditions and the engine configuration introduced in the next tabs. Under the recommended main jet, the calculated real value with decimals is shown. The air density and density altitude are shown too. In addition, this tab lets do a fine tuning adjustment to adapt to a concrete engine (you know that each engine has its own personality).

- Conditions: you can set the values for current temperature, pressure, altitude and humidity, by hand or by bringing them from the nearest weather station: the app uses the location service (GPS or WiFi) to know where you are, queries the station and shows what it answered -the place, which station, how far, how long ago and with what values-. If it convinces you, one tap moves them into the fields. Up to version 1.7 this lived in a separate GPS tab.

- Engine: you can set in this screen the information about the engine, that is, the model year, model and carburetor, and the oil mix ratio that you're using. Under the ratio there is a mix calculator: it converts between petrol, oil and ratio, so it tells you how much oil to add to the petrol you are about to mix, or what ratio you ended up with from what you already poured. Petrol and oil each have their own unit -litres, gallons, millilitres or ounces- and the ratio is shown as a percentage and as 1:n at the same time. One tap brings the result back into the Engine screen.

- Logbook: every ride is saved here, not every calculation. The + button on the Results tab copies what the app already knows -bike, weather and its recommendation- and leaves pending the only thing it cannot know: what you actually fitted and how it went. The rating is per circuit -low, mid and high-, because jetting can be rich at the bottom and lean at the top at the same time. Everything can be exported to CSV or shared as a backup to carry to another phone.

The app let you use different measure units: ºC and ºF for temperatures, meters and feet for altitude, and mb, hPa, mmHg and inHg for pressures. The air density can be shown in kg/m3, lb/ft3 or lb/gal (US).

The jetting data comes from the tables published by the manufacturer in the owner's manual of each model and year.

The app includes the following Husqvarna two stroke, off-road motorbikes:
- TC 50: 2017-2026.
- TC 50 Mini: 2017-2023.
- TC 65: 2017-2027.
- TC 85: 2014-2026.
- TC 125: 2014-2022.
- TC 250: 2014-2022.

- TE 300: 2014-2018.
- TX 125: 2017-2019.
- TX 300: 2017-2019.
* Fuel injection engines are not supported. The app is valid only for engines that use carburetor.

If you click in "More from developer" you can find the other carburation tools for 2 strokes & 4 strokes motocross, SX, MX, enduro, supercross, off-road race motorcycles: KTM, Yamaha YZ, Suzuki RM, Honda CR, Honda CRF, Kawasaki KX.

The app is valid for both PRO or beginners dirtriders.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-08-25

New: the mix calculator. It lives on the Engine screen, under the oil ratio, and converts between petrol, oil and ratio: you pick which of the three you want to work out and adjust the other two. It tells you how much oil to add to the petrol you are about to mix, or what ratio you ended up with from what you already poured. Petrol and oil each have their own unit -litres, gallons, millilitres or ounces, US and imperial- and the ratio is shown as a percentage and as 1:n at the same time. One tap brings it back into the jetting calculation.

Fixed: the oil ratio slider on the Engine screen got slower with every change, because the screen subscribed to it again each time it redrew without unsubscribing first.

New: the logbook. Save every ride with the + button on the Results tab: the app copies the bike, the weather and its recommendation, and you note afterwards what you actually fitted and how it went. Rating is per circuit -low, mid and high-. Everything exports to CSV or shares as a backup for another phone.

The GPS tab is gone: asking for your position and pulling the nearest weather station now happens inside Conditions, where those values are actually used. On the way, the altitude was fixed -it was stuck at 50 m- and the error messages, which on modern iOS were not being shown at all.

New models and years:
- TC 50: 2025 and 2026 added.
- TC 65: 2025, 2026 and 2027 added, and the missing 2017 too.
- TC 85: 2025 and 2026 added.
- TC 125 and TC 250: 2022 added.
- TX 300: 2017 added.

Jetting data reviewed against the manufacturer's owner manuals. The values of TC 85 (2018-2024), TC 65 (2024), TC 125 (2018, 2020 and 2021), TC 50 (2024), TE 125, TE 250 and TE 300 (2015), TE 150 and TX 125 (2017) have been corrected.

TC 50 Mini 2024 and TC 150 have been removed: those models were never sold.

The year selector now shows every year available in the app.

Updated for the latest iOS versions.
