## What is Jetting for KTM 2T Dirt Bikes?

This app provides, using temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure and oil-mix ratio, a recommendation about the jetting configuration to use for KTM 2-strokes MX and enduro bikes (SX, SXS, EXC, XC and MXC models), from 2005 up to the 2027 minicycles.

Every recommendation starts from the reference setup for that model and model year, and is corrected by the air density of your conditions. It is not a rule of thumb from a forum: it is a starting point worked out for the day in front of you.

In order to get the weather values, the application can use the location service (GPS or WiFi) to obtain the position and altitude, and the network connection to get the temperature, pressure and humidity from the nearest weather station. Nevertheless, the application can run without GPS, WiFi and internet connection, in this case, the user has to give the weather data.

What you get:
- Main jet, needle type and clip, pilot jet and air screw, calculated from the air density for your conditions.
- Weather from the nearest station in one tap, or typed in by hand when there is no coverage.
- A logbook of your rides: what the app recommended, what you actually fitted, and how it ran, rated separately for the low, mid and high circuits. Export as CSV or move it to another phone.
- Mix calculator: how much oil to add to the petrol you are about to mix, or the other way round, with petrol and oil each in the unit you like. One button takes the resulting ratio into the calculation.
- Fine tuning to adapt the recommendation to your own engine.
- Air density and density altitude, always on screen.

The app lets you use different measure units: ºC and ºF for temperatures, meters and feet for altitude, mb, hPa, mmHg and inHg for pressures, and kg/m³, lb/ft³ and lb/gal (US) for air density.

No ads, no tracking, no account. Every calculation runs on your device, so the app works at the track with no coverage: you only need a connection if you want to pull the weather from the nearest station.

Valid for the following models from 2005 to 2027:

### 5/5 — I really like this app

*2020-12-22*

This app has boosted my bike's performance, now it runs cleaner and faster

### 5/5 — Good tool to make your bike run clean and fast

*2020-12-16*

Before using this app my SX125 was running too rich with stock jetting, that caused a poor performance and excessive oil leaking from exhaust. With the recommendation of this app now it is running much better, having more mileage and with much less oil leaking. Definitely this app is a must to make your bike run perfectly.

### 5/5 — Good app to make life easier

*2020-12-09*

Happy with the results. Recommended app.

### 1/5 — TC125

*2020-08-20*

The information from the GPS weather always says the same thing for altitude 164 feet. We are at 3600 feet above sea level. I also the the KTM app and it work fine. I wish it could be reset or something.

**Developer response:** Hello, the update should fix your problem. Please test it again and send us an email to mobile@isenet.es if it's not working yet. Best regards.

### 1/5 — Waiting For Support-it doesn’t work

### 4/5 — Wtmotox

*2019-08-15*

The app has been great not a bible but a great guide

### 5/5 — Good app for base figures

*2019-04-22*

Really good app to get a base figure! Obviously If your running a pipe, reeds ect you’ll have to play about a little more but if an explication of the fine tuning was available rather than just +/- it could be a very very good app! Certainly helped with a CR250 and it’s usually running issues on the TMX even better with the PWK air striker!

### 4/5 — Life saver

*2018-02-01*

I put a snow kit on my 2017 ktm 300xc. This app has been an asset when planning rides at different altitudes and temperatures. Only suggestions are: I can only set it to -10 C° It would be nice to get it to -35 C°. Also, the option of choosing another location other than current location would be nice for planning trips and make it a lot easier than inputting values manually. Those two suggestions would make this app perfect.

### 4/5 — Shane woods

*2017-10-16*

I've been testing on the 65sx. Your results are looking very good with the jetting and needle choices but I'm finding your air screw setting way off.

## Frequently asked questions about Jetting for KTM 2T Dirt Bikes

### What does this app do?

This application calculates the optimal jetting configuration for KTM 2-stroke MX and enduro dirt bikes. ## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-08-25

New in this version: a mix calculator, and a new icon.

• Mix calculator. It tells you how much oil to add to the petrol you are about to mix, and also the other way round: how much petrol the oil left in the bottle will take, or what ratio you actually ended up with. Litres, millilitres, US and imperial gallons and ounces, with petrol and oil in different units if that suits you. One button takes the resulting ratio to the Engine screen. It sits right below the oil ratio, which is where you need it.
• New icon. The bike cut out in white on orange, like the rest of the family. The old one was a photograph, and at icon size you could not make anything out.
• The ratio row is now called "Oil to petrol". The percentage is oil against petrol, not against the finished mix, and the row title is the place to answer that question.
• The calculator has its own help screen, all of it translated into the app's seven languages.

And what arrived in version 2.0, in case you missed it:

• Logbook. Save any calculation and write down afterwards what you actually fitted and how it ran. Rate the low, mid and high circuits separately, note the place, and export everything as CSV or share a copy to move it to another phone.
• The GPS tab is gone. Asking the nearest weather station for temperature, pressure and humidity now happens inside Conditions, which is where those values are used. No more going back and forth.
• Seven new model/year combinations: 125 XC-W, 150 XC-W, 250 XC-W and 300 XC-W for 2017, the 125 XC for 2021 and 2022, and the 65 SX for 2009.
• The weather station request no longer blocks the interface, and station names are no longer truncated.
• Fixed: on the Results screen the Help, + and ... buttons sat on top of the first boxes. The layout now works itself out from the safe area, so it keeps working on any screen.
• New launch screen with the app logo. The old one was a screenshot of the app with made-up figures, and it no longer looked like the current interface.
• All the help texts rewritten screen by screen: they still described a GPS tab that no longer exists.
• Fixed: the "more apps" screen showed titles without icons.
