I wish the developer would make more similiar puzzles. Istarted playing after I developed some eye trouble, I found it helpful with eye hand coordination and fine motor skills, the puzzle part was a plus. But… with delete game if I continue to be swamped with ads ### 3/5 — Game freezes up *2019-08-09, version 1.0* Still freezing up. When are you going to fix the problem? I'm going to delete this app and try again some other year. Three years ago, an other Jewel Drops 2 -Match three player said the same thing concerning the game frequent freezing, and I'm wondering why there is no update that has fixed this problem. Now we players have to start the level over. I am playing the. Relaxed, no sweat level with the ability to play the level over and over until I've won and can move on. I'm not sure the other players in the more advanced levels have the same chance to redo the level over and over again with no ”in app purchases”. Why bother playing if I have to reload this and lose all the levels I have cleared? ### 5/5 — Ms *2016-06-21, version 1.0* Very addictive and enjoyable. ### 3/5 — Buggy on IPhone-Still Fun but frustrating *2016-06-08, version 1.0* I really liked the first version of this game. This one doesn't play as well on an iPhone, but is still fun although buggy. It helps to turn off the messages that pop up congratulating every move and cover the screen, but even then the falcon takes too long to get out of the way and slows down play. On the timed levels this is annoying. I personally like that particular raptor and never felt the urge to kill one before this. There are some issues I think may be only on a smaller iPhone like mine, including some bugs that cause it to freeze that some of the other reviewers have mentioned. One bug is that it will freeze when a crown or jewel somehow moves into a gap created by the gapbringer. Twice on medium, three times on the hard level, and four times on expert so far, it done this when I had apparently won, with moves to spare, but the gapbringer was still active. The game freezes instead of ending. Iphone had to be turned off & back on to restart the game, forcing a replay of that level. As much as I hate the falcon flying in my face, I think most of the bugs are gapbringer related. It just froze on the 39th game of the expert level for no reason I can fathom, then did it again on game 60 of the expert level. There is one bug where it will continue to play but a space will appear to have a nonfunctional gapbringer. This all may be just on the iPhone, BTW. There are 60 games on each of the five levels, and it has frozen on me maybe eleven times in all. I still would recommend this game, just with slight reservations. My main criticisms are on the iPhone the Falcon is too large, the color renditions are sometimes off on the nets, gapbringer and falcon, and the periodic freezing. Still a really good game. I recommend this developer overall and hope this game can be fixed for the iPhone. I haven't been able to finish the last game of the expert level. It froze causing a reboot yet again. Frustrating. ### 2/5 — Grinder is a spoiler *2016-05-28, version 1.0* I have played and loved these games for many years. The "Grinder" is a deal breaker for me - it's virtually impossible to get rid of it before it detonates. Yuck! May 27, 2016 Since this was first released they have renamed "the grinder" as "the gap bringer". Don't be fooled - new name, same action. game is frustrating, unplayable and not any fun. If you've loved these games in the past you are doomed to disappointment! ### 3/5 — Jewels drop 2 *2016-05-15, version 1.0* I have always rated the games 5 stars as they have all been great fun to play, and I have always looked forward to the new one coming out.This game is not as good. I do not like the way tiles are made to disappear it ruins the game. I most probably will not bother finishing this game. The format had been ruined. I will check the next game and if it is the same as this one I will not bother with it. Very disappointed Kath 😔 ### 2/5 — Not as good as previous games *2016-05-07, version 1.0* I usually love these games and play them all the way through on all levels. This is the first one I have been disappointed in. The gap-bringer obstacle makes the game too stressful for me, even on the easier levels. I hope it is not going to be included in any further games, or you can have the option of turning it off. Too often it creates a gap that I know means the game will be impossible to play out so I have to cancel it and start again. This makes it much less enjoyable. Plus it gives so little time to remove it with matching, even on the easier levels. So sorry to see a good series of games go this way. I have enjoyed all their games until this one. Apple’s placement of ads into his games is unacceptable. There is an ad after every screen. There also no opportunity to pay for the removal of ads. For me, the intrusion is unacceptable & may result in my deletion of all Bullbitz iOS games. ### 1/5 — Recent update changed how ads work *2024-08-16, version 3.0* Previously the ads were unobtrusive and in a small box at the edge of the screen. The new update removes those, and now we are presented with full-screen video ads before EVERY SINGLE STAGE. Randomly in the middle of a level, the game shuts down. As stated by another user, the game freezes and the only way to get out of it is to delete it and reinstall. The freezing is random. It makes you think, instead of just mindless, random scrolling. The music is ok, although something more generic might have been better, as the eastern style tends to be a bit repetitive. But the concept of the game is great. The real selling point though, is no stupid adverts. You pay up front, and play as much as you want- which is perfect.
