The prices don’t match for a while after they have been shown. I’ve stopped buying at the moment as the pictures no longer show. Also the internet does not work on any platform. I suspect this problem is unique to Apple users. A very nice young man tried to sort it but it’s just the same. This means I can’t check anything and yo7 are just working in the dark. ### 3/5 — Authenticity certificates & other products *2020-04-03, version 1.7* I love jewellery maker and have watched the show & ordered through the website for a few years but have only recently started using the app. You can’t order the printed authenticity certificates when ordering gemstones which I think is very important. You also can’t add any items which aren’t on the show but are available through the website, such as earring findings or threading materials so need to load up the website to add these to your order... no real benefit to having the app, just use the website on your phone/iPad. ### 3/5 — No refresh, no auth. certificates *2018-04-05, version 1.6* Good app, clear layout and easy to use. It’s a shame you can’t access your account on it, or see your current order. It’s also very frustrating that there’s no option to add authenticity certificates to your order when buying gemstones. Another thing I’ve noticed, is that if you go out of the app, it doesn’t update the list of items that have been broadcast unless you force-quit and reload it. ### 3/5 — Love the deals but *2017-04-24, version 1.6* I'm loving the Channel and the deals but you really need to work on this app and the access to the same information and deals from the main website, this app only gives you a snippet of a look at what they actually have available, if I hadn't gone investigating I would never have known about all the other deals available and would have probably spent so much more. ### 5/5 — JewelleryMaker *2017-04-12, version 1.6* I love it. Everything I ordered came was a little bit miffed that one of the labradorite stones had cracked and a ring blank had a loop broken off. But all in all l would say that I'm quite pleased. The jems are a good quality for the price and the ring mandrel was good quality full stop. As for the app, it was a bit of a pain to register but now seems fine. I will be shopping with JM again-probably sooner than later. ### 3/5 — Good but needs improving *2016-01-08, version 1.6* The app is good, but when you go to the basket you can not go back to the daily show, but have to stop the app and restart. Also, you can not search for or look at any items in the vault...you can only see what is being sold on the day... To me that is a big negative both for me and the company... I would have bought more gems if I could combine... ### 5/5 — Fab app *2015-09-02, version 1.3* Fab app, there is a delay in the price drops but I love it :) and love being able to message the studio as check out my basket too x ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Rubbish app *2022-04-11, version 5.05* I was an avid watcher on virgin media, but they are not on it anymore, so I try to watch on the app. At 3.15 this afternoon it is still playing the morning show. Even when it’s playing the right show it keeps jumping backwards a few seconds which is really annoying especially when a demo is on. The products available are often from the day before, you have to go in and out of the app three or four times before they refresh. You have to sign back in after buying if you pay with PayPal, it’s a nightmare so I haven’t purchased anything from them in ages. I used the desktop version to treat myself today. It’s really affected what I purchase and watch, if the app was better I’d use it more but I hate it. ### 1/5 — What have you done? *2020-08-15, version 3.0* This was a great app, easy to use, everything easy to see and access from the live tv page. Now I have to leave the TV view to get details of the items, and try to find photos, which I can no longer get close up views of. I’ve stopped using it now, therefore no longer buying. I used to be a regular customer, buying something most weeks, often over a hundred pounds worth. I imagine your client is less than happy with making less money from sales through the app. JM will be getting a copy of this review directly from me. App developer has ruined my hobby/pin money maker. I was gutted that I missed out on the square Topaz due to my basket refusing to check out !! The live auctions are slow and the graphics displayed don't display the live auction . Infuriated beyond belief !! ### 2/5 — Freezing & jumping *2022-04-18, version 5.05* I am having lots of issues when watching JM on this app. The problems are with it freezing & jumping this makes it difficult when you are wanting to watch demos. ☹️ ### 2/5 — Quality of App going down *2022-03-28, version 5.05* I have watched JM for many years via the app on my iphone but recently the quality of the streaming has been awful: loss of focus, freezing both via internet and 4G. This is also happening on the website! With JM not on Virgin anymore this is the only way I can watch the shows. All my iphone updates have been uploaded with the last one being 15.3. Does not give me workshop details. At times have been disappointed with size of gems when they arrive. When I choose an item and would like to go back to the list the app will put me back again to the beginning which is very annoying and it will put me off purchase.
