### 2/5 — Problems

*2025-09-14*

Well once again every avenue I try in order to get help ends up being the wrong path. All of my valuations are in foreign currency! This has been going on for a little while. I am a patient person and thought maybe it was an everybody problem. Nope. It’s mine. May I get some help with this please?
Also we’re still showing pictures of marker tags Now the app wont finish analyzing the picture. It stops at approximately 65% and gives an error message for not completing the analysis.

I’m still think about it

### 3/5 — Jewelry Identification

*2025-04-20*

I had hopes this would be a valuable tool in identification of various gemstones, but sadly it misses the mark. It identifies genuine gemstones beads as plastic or glass and if you try to get a closer picture of the pieces’s details, it takes an error. Will not renew.

### 4/5 — Camera options are none

*2025-04-18*

In a app that is supposed to do fine detail photos it can’t seem to zoom in , otherwise it’s a decent app

### 4/5 — Market value?!

*2025-03-09*

I was having a pretty good opinion about this app until it decided that I needed the market value of the quarter I was using for sizing instead of the actual jewelry. How does one fix that? They text support and make suggestions through reviews. It helped my situation. Thank you for listening.

**Developer response:** Dear valued Jewelry Identifier user,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your initial positive opinion of our app and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the sizing feature.

We understand your concern regarding:
1. The app providing a market value for a quarter used for sizing instead of focusing on the actual jewelry

We recognize that this issue can be frustrating and potentially confusing for our users. Our development team is already working on improving the app's ability to distinguish between reference objects and the actual jewelry pieces.

In our next update, we plan to implement the following enhancements:
- Refining our image recognition algorithm to better differentiate between sizing objects and jewelry
- Adding a specific "sizing mode" that will ignore non-jewelry objects in the frame
- Improving the user interface to make it clearer when the app is focusing on the intended jewelry piece

We value your input as it helps us identify areas for improvement. Rest assured, we are committed to making the Jewelry Identifier app more accurate and user-friendly.

If you encounter any other issues or have suggestions for improvement, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. Your feedback is crucial in helping us enhance the app's performance.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to providing you with an improved experience in our upcoming update.

Best regards,

This app said my engagement ring is only .5 to 100 karat. It’s actually 3.5 karats with the wedding band and valued at 35,000 dollars. As bought from reputable dealer and appraised. So needless to say I won’t be using or buying another month.

### 1/5 — Not so great

*2025-02-01*

Google lens works much better. You can’t zoom in when taking a picture so it doesn’t capture or take into consideration brand tags and such. It wouldn’t be nice if you could at least add additional things to help identify. Very seldom shows an exact match unlike Google.

**Developer response:** Dear valued Jewelry Identifier user,

Thank you for sharing your feedback about our app. We appreciate your comparison with Google Lens and understand your concerns regarding:
1. **Zoom functionality**: The inability to zoom in when taking a picture, which affects the app's ability to capture details like brand tags.
2. **Lack of exact matches**: The app rarely provides exact matches for jewelry pieces, unlike Google Lens.
3. **Additional identification features**: The desire for more tools to aid in jewelry identification.

We take your feedback very seriously and are committed to improving our app. Here are some enhancements we are working on:
- **Zoom feature**: We are planning to add a zoom functionality to allow users to capture more detailed images, including brand tags and other small details.
- **Improved matching algorithm**: We are refining our matching algorithm to increase the accuracy of jewelry identification and provide more exact matches.
- **Additional identification tools**: We will explore adding features that allow users to input additional information or use other visual cues to help improve identification accuracy.

These improvements will be included in our next update. We appreciate your patience and hope you will give our app another chance once these enhancements are implemented. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us make Jewelry Identifier a better tool for jewelry enthusiasts.

Thank you again for your input. We're working hard to make your experience better.

### 5/5 — Problems

*2026-07-20*

Update on my review below. Everything I had a problem with seems to have been resolved. Except being able to get the app to work at all and : Now I have created a new problem. Yes I said created - myself. The app wasn’t acting right so I followed protocol and force stopped it. That didn’t work so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Thereby losing my voluminous collection of sellable jewelry that I have been collecting/ putting together. Does anyone know if there is a way to get my collection pictures back?
