The app only tries to hook into safari, not even iBooks,  but i use other browsers.

The activation in safari fails and offers a link for feedback but that too fails.

Disappointed that no matter what setting I try on my phone, the jiffy reader is always “off”. Also disappointed to see that “ this project is no longer supported,” so I know this feedback won’t be acknowledgment. Such a great concept but, based on other similar app success (lack of), it seems like a challenging concept to get right.

I was really excitied about the potential for this app, however, it does not seem to be supported on safari truly. Even the instructions it taked you to upon first opening it doesn't mention Safari.

In order to use the safari extension you need to give it access to read and write sensitive information such as passwords and credit card numbers.

This application says it does not use your data on the app store, but if you look at the website, they are using google analytics to store whatever you utilize this for... it's a bit misleading

This bionic reading extension for Safari works flawlessly as of 7/24/2023. You get to fully customize your reading experience by changing saccades interval, fixations stregth, opacity, and even accent color. A must have for skimming through academic papers.

This extension has been life changing for me! It has allowed me to read a lot faster and more efficient in my browser. My only hope and suggestion is to push to have other browsers support this app so it can be used anywhere.

This is exactly what I was hoping for! Jiffy Reader is a simple-to-install safari extension that alters any webpage to bionic reading. As a person with ADHD, reading can be cumbersome and I can tend to lose focus easily with nonfiction reading, causing me to have to re-read text multiple times to comprehend it. Bionic reading is a game-changer for me, increasing my reading speed, focus and comprehension X3. I’m so glad an extension like this exists for my iPhone so I can enjoy the benefits of bionic reading everywhere. Well done to the developer! I’ll be waiting for the Chrome extension addition.
