This is a contract middle man… Jiffy does not guarantee any work done by the outside contractors… be wary of the positive reviews ### 1/5 — Jiffy AC Pro horrible *2025-08-14, version 6.13.0* Frank does not appear to be a certified technician and clearly did not know what he was doing. I hired him to fix a humming noise in my AC. He came, sprayed down the unit, and said he was cleaning the condenser. After that, the AC stopped working and the furnace room began flooding. He returned three days later and said it needed gassing but that I would have to hire someone else to do it. Jiffy still charged me for 1.5 hours, $190.00 per hour, even though the AC was worse than before. I then hired another technician who told me the AC needed both proper cleaning and gassing work that Frank claimed he had already done. I paid for a poorly done job that was never completed. Frank was also rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend Frank, Jiffy, or this so-called “pro.” ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-08-06, version 7.2.0* Kept seeing ads about Jiffy so I decided to try it out, my request was cancelled as its outside of their expertise, a gutter extension job, i’ll just do it myself. ### 1/5 — THEY’RE SCAMMERS BE AWARE *2026-07-27, version 7.2.0* They get all your sensitive information and don’t provide any service!!! ### 1/5 — Dishonest and Shady *2026-06-12, version 7.1.6* Avoid this company - very shady. Not worth it and forces pros to overcharge. They take 30% minimum of the pro’s job income (used to be lower, and increases to 40% if they get low ratings). They also make pros pay 30-40% of material costs to them out of their remaining income, but don’t allow the pros to charge this to customers or tell them about it - basically forcing pros to take unneeded risk or work for less then minimum wage or even a loss. Additionally, they use scare tactics and contracts to attempt to force silence or compliance from pros and customers - look up reviews on trust pilot and similar websites. Extremely shady, and they seem to be having trouble retaining pros, so I’d be careful using this platform. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2026-04-25, version 7.1.5* Use the app twice. First time for plumbing and he showed up and couldn’t changed our taps. Sad. Second time web site for window washing for 215.00 and so called “Pro” calls me and price is 290.00 for less windows and work that they have on website. Be very very careful with Jiffy ### 1/5 — AI made it unusable *2026-04-11, version 7.1.5* I tried to use this app to help my MIL get a quote for a task. The AI assistant made it completely unusable. It kept asking the same question that had been answered several times and I couldn’t get past that screen. Very frustrating experience. ### 1/5 — Corporations giving false security *2026-03-27, version 7.1.4* When asked if they do criminal background checks they were clueless as to why that would be important and tried to sell me that a corporation is doing checks that would be adequate enough.. laughable and sad ### 1/5 — Quick headaches *2026-03-18, version 7.1.3* Scammers. They’ll overcharge you and do a poor job. One of their electricians installed an outlet that caught fire and nearly burned my house down, they do not care. There is no accountability, and no recourse through them. They manage unnecessary double visits and increase rates ### 1/5 — Zero Work Done - Still Charged *2025-11-02, version 7.0.4* I was misinformed regarding the duration of the project. I clearly communicated the full scope of work in advance and inquired about the expected timeframe. Based on that information, I understood the work would be completed during the scheduled appointment. However, upon arrival, I was advised that the project would actually require a full day to complete. I live in a different city and coordinating jobs with contractors has become so easy for me. The constant contact and communication is key. Photo updates and job progress. I get to hear from both my parents and the contractors! From the beginning, he was professional and communicative, clearly explaining my options, including whether I wanted to supply materials or have him bring them. He arrived right on time and came fully equipped with all the necessary tools, including cleanup supplies like garbage mbags and a vacuum. His work was done with great care and attention to detail, and he left the area very clean after completing the job. What stood out most was that he took the time to walk me through the finished work and made sure everything met my expectations before leaving.
