Seriously. *2025-07-25, version 24.18.2024121201* It was bad enough, the goddamn sign up process demands my freaking birthdate, which I fudged a little, and then it was a 10 character goddamn password. App is just ok and it seems like every time I use the app, it takes 10 minutes for my mobile orders to make it from app submission to being received by the store. And it doesn’t seem to matter which store I go to. They all have this delay. Maybe their system only checks for new orders every 5-10 minutes or so? Crazy. If this can be fixed, it would be perfect. Well, it would be perfect if you added in the ability to clearly request things like “extra Parmesan” on my tacos. There’s just a checkbox under options that says “Parmesan”. Not extra or “no”. I’m checked it thinking it meant extra since it’s right next to “add this and that” other options but ended up with NO parm on my tacos. 😂 ### 3/5 — Good app. Great food. I literally just spent another $28.82 ### 1/5 — Zero management *2025-12-07, version 25.12.2025090301* Zero Management Presence – Leadership Completely Absent I’ve been a occasional customer of Jimboy’s for years and normally don’t expect five-star service from a fast-food taco chain, but the Greenhaven/Florin location has reached a new low. On my most recent visit, it was immediately clear that this restaurant is operating with little to no meaningful management or leadership oversight. Orders were handled chaotically, staff appeared unsupervised and unsure of basic procedures, and there was no sense of accountability when mistakes were made. Simple requests were met with indifference, and the overall atmosphere felt like the place was running on autopilot — or worse, not running at all. It’s one thing to have an off day; it’s another to give the distinct impression that nobody in charge actually cares whether the location succeeds or fails. Food was prepared sloppily (cold in the middle, barely wrapped), the dining area wasn’t clean, and multiple customers around me were visibly frustrated with the same lack of direction from staff. When issues were brought up, employees just shrugged — no manager ever appeared, and no one seemed authorized or willing to step in and fix anything. Jimboy’s can be a solid, affordable taco spot when run properly, but this particular location is a glaring example of what happens when management is either nonexistent or completely detached. Until there’s real leadership and accountability at 7215 Greenhaven Drive, I won’t be back — and I can’t recommend anyone else waste their time or money here either. Strongly suggest corporate take a hard look at this franchisee. Nope, none of the Reno or Sparks locations use the app. I literally started just trying every location when I would try to order to no avail. I drove by OPEN but no line in the drive thru and no app. Morning noon or night nothing! ### 1/5 — Poor food *2024-04-11, version 23.11.2023062201* Ordered food on the app, they had offer if you purchased a chili burrito you get a taco for free, so I ordered a 6 pk of tacos and the chili burrito and gave special instructions in the area for special instructions that I wanted the tacos to have crispy shells, and the burrito that I paid 8 bucks for to have extra cheese. So the taco shells were barely even cooked the shells were basically a corn tortilla raw and the burrito was so nasty, the burrito was so thin and the chili was so salty and runny it was disgusting it went into the trash. My review is based entirely on the app! Not their food or service! I absolutely LOVE Jimboy’s food!, but the app is so frustrating! I almost always get the same thing since I don’t get a chance to eat there too often. I get the two (beef) enchilada combo plate. I ask for extra rice as my sides instead of the beans & salad. On the app it’s MAKING me select three sides though before I can add it to my cart. So I just pick rice for all three. Then I go to checkout & it says I selected one too many items & to please delete one. Problem is there is no way to do this that I can see. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, or if it’s the app. 🤷‍♀️ Again, I LOVE their food! I’ve never had any problems with the staff either. When I order inside they do a fantastic job! It is just the app that I’m having issues with. I have a toddler, & sometimes it’s just easier to pop in for a pickup order real quick when she’s in a mood, than it is to wait for it in store. You need to using this app. The rewards program is great. You just have to use the app to claim your rewards. I have never had a problem claiming mine. Plus if you order for a pick up a hour ahead of time your food will be hot and ready as soon as you show up. No need to.
