Apparently, this app is worthless without the book— which I don’t have. Oh well. Easy enough to delete. I was misled by an interview with Jimmy on NPR, however, and am most disappointed.

Na, das war ja wohl gar nichts, lieber STERN! Ich habe das iPhone 6 mit iOS 12.1.2, also alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt. Aber trotzdem erscheint der Hinweis, dass die App nur für neuere Technologien erschaffen worden sei. Hat überhaupt schon mal ein User eine positive Erfahrung mit der App gemacht?

Ich habe Jimmy Nelson im „stern“ kennengelernt und nicht nur seine phantastischen Bilder haben mich zum Staunen gebracht, sondern auch die Technik, über ein einzelnes Foto einen dazu gehörenden Film ablaufen zu lassen. Genial. Danke!

Ich habe Jimmy Nelsons Buch Homage to Humanity zum Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen und bin aus dem Staunen gar nicht mehr herausgekommen. Die App zum Buch lässt einen Blick hinter die Kulissen werfen und berührt mit wunderbarem Filmmaterial! Einfach genial!!
