Compare to hike, i liked jio chat. But there is an issue. I am trying to text, audio video call to my mom and brother but they are not getting the notifications. I meed to call on their cell and ask them to open the app. Then only we can chat. Looks like if you do not open the app for some time, it goes to sleep mode. This is a pain. Jio is using too much marketing and advertising on Jio chat. Even if the sender name is deleted temporarily, they can send advertisements again. There is no way to block unwanted messages. We generally use chat for personal contact. Whatsapp and hangouts (the app developers) never send messages to users. There should be freedom for app user to add or block contact. When calling to anyone the voice call is okay but when we switch to the video call we are unable to see the person. I would have rated it minus 5 had there been an option to do it. The customer care chat doesn’t work at all. It just pops a message to call customer care rather than resolving queries. The customer care on the other hand has prerecorded messages without any option of talking to any executive. To get it working I had restart my iPhone which is a most irritating thing for iPhone users.
