But there is now a bug in the app. If you schedule a meeting from the app, there is a bug now that the scheduled meeting doesn’t appear on the app. It works on the web version. Noise suppression is also not working too well again and the app picks up background noise. I tried submitting feedback on the app but it takes you to a form requiring only an India number (but I am based overseas) so don’t have a 91 country code. It then also doesnt seem to validate the captcha properly so nothing can be submitted. But, launching remains the nagging issue. Its launching is irksome, frustrating and unpredictable. Most of the time it takes aeon minutes to launch. That kills the tempo. I use it primarily to teach maths, science and a few other subjects online. I use iPad 6. The iPad OS updated, and JioMeet are always updated to the latest versions. And, yet, the nag continues. Developers, kindly address this issue. ### 3/5 — Video participants *2020-10-30* I like the app in total. However, there are two feature which might improve the app. First is ,when on a video call with many members , only 4 to 5 members are shown on the screen. The other members who also have their camera on ,are not shown and there is no feature from which we can see them apart from those who are already displayed. please improve this feature. Second is there is a slight delay in the video call of about 2 to 3 seconds . Do consider and improve the app. ### 4/5 — Need a Web version *2020-10-11* The platform has good features. There are a few bugs to be fixed for sure. It doesn’t work on Honor phones. And when we do a screen share, voice stops. However, we have been using it every week and it’s quite easy to login and good number of participants can join as well. (for chromebooks/ chromebook laptops) on your website when I go to download it only shows “IOS, MacBook, Google playstore and Windows” but... it doesn’t give an option for Chrome OS. Please add support for Chrome OS users. It is very frustrating because I love JioMeet yet I am not able to use it on my Chromebook laptop! ### 4/5 — Screen sharing causes the application to crash *2020-07-24* I liked the overall feel of the application, but I feel that the screen sharing needs more improvements. My application crashed as soon as I started a screen share. Would be great to be able to share device audio with other participants during screen share. ### 5/5 — Recording facility unavailable *2020-07-23* Dear Jio Meet team, The app is brilliant and good for setting up, conducting a meeting. Flow is quite smooth. At times, I feel bandwidth/ data usage required seems higher. Another very good option which is missing is “Meeting Recording” facility. The storage of such recording can be made available thru cloud or user’s own phone or laptop. This will help corporates and students who can refer the video & audio later. The time zone cannot be change through the app settings or online; - apparently nobody noticed this as there are more FAQs on how to change the profile picture than how to solve technical issues and for this time issue there is no mention. This is a bit of a red flag for me; - the “contact us” ‘button’ in the online ‘Help’ section refers to an empty blog rather than actual contact details. A bit of a bigger red flag to me; - last…no presence on social medial like Facebook or Instagram where they can be reached for assistance is definitely a res flag. Considering all this I’m starting to believer that this app might have ulterior reasons to exist, some of which might be personal data. New red flag discovered: app asks for access to phone contacts and after access is given no contacts show up in the app when trying to invite someone for a meeting. Inconveniences : can’t repeat a meeting; can’t record; videos of participants don’t fit in tile mode ( it’s disgusting) ### 1/5 — Copy of Zoom but not working *2020-07-12, version 3.3.9* It’s not working and specially from usa ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of improvement *2020-07-09* I (in fact others in the meeting too)faced many troubles in the app. First of all, the video and audio turned on automatically after one or two minutes of usage. Second, the FPS of the app is low according to my view. Third, the audio started to echo for a few minutes after five or seven participants started speaking simultaneously. Fourth, me and my friends all were made to exit without any network issues at different times of the meeting. Fifth, the zooming feature should be improved because when I first zoom to left side of my screen then it always zooms to the left side of my screen regardless of where I am placing my fingers to zoom and vice versa( may be they haven’t given a good zoom feature as zoom is there rival, JFF). And many other bug fixes are there but the above are some of the issues that’s need to be addressed immediately.
