So what is a logic behind showing so many advertisements apart from channel advertisements? And if you once miss the original timing then half of the show gets over. U can’t watch full episode. For example, Daily soap namly Pushpa Impossible, if u miss original time ie 9.30 pm then u can’t watch the full episode. Secondly after date changing 12 midnight, all same day shows moves 2 days back dated . Please fix this nonsense and irritating practice immediately ### 2/5 — 30 to 45 sec delay to normal live tv at the home. *2022-11-20* Whats the benefit of live tv when there is delay of more than 30 to 45 secs. Also ads comes when we change the channel which waste the content view feels, giving ads on break period is justified but while watching the shows the ads comes in between thats not tolerable, atleast don't give the ads while the show is running when there is tv ads push your ads then, we would manage that. ### 3/5 — Need update perhaps *2022-10-08* Because it keep on loading and app forced stopped ### 1/5 — Worst experience of watching live TV *2022-09-29* Though it streams live TV but this is a worst experience to watch live TV on Jio TV App. It always hangs up and stop streaming, every time you have to either close the application or change the channel again Start streaming. This is very annoying and sometimes loses the interest to watch. They should not be claiming the “anywhere anytime” slogan! ### 1/5 — Terrible on iPhone *2022-07-11* Worked once and now it just shows blank screen when I click on any channel ### 1/5 — Platform of ads *2021-12-16* Yes I rated it 1 star because it has no limit to ads , man you must be tripping when you use this app .You be watching cricket player gets out unofficial ads pops up an over finish same ads pops out once the ad finish the ad restarts man you tripping on this ads . And ads pops out almost 30-40 times during a 90 minutes football game . 40x30 =1200 seconds which gives 20 minutes of live football or has been ruined by this ads . For cricket match every over , every wicket calculate it omg have some decency level ### 3/5 — Live TV stops in the middle of use *2021-03-23* This is a good app, but whenever I try to watch live TV, it always buffers after going on fine for 30 seconds from start. This is the only issue I’m facing, and this is now a very bad thing in Jio TV, this problem increased a lot these days. This is my request to Reliance Jio Digital to solve this problem. Whenever the problem will be solved, I’ll edit the review and give more stars... ### 1/5 — Need better streaming *2021-03-16* Edit: do it genuinely when you want to offer something. It’s seriously a bad attitude from a reputed company. When you can’t give proper streaming, why stream!? Is anybody begging you!? Streaming stops and if I try to reload it starts from the very beginning of the game. Idiots!! If you are a money-monger, don’t stream. Why stream half-hearted and lose your reputation. You are a big company yet you have not lost your nature of being a greedy local vendor we see occasionally. You exerted your behavior when you entered mobile service market and you haven’t changed since then. Leave the streaming to hotstar.. who can afford will watch.. you and your nasty streaming!! Stop being so nasty and irritating. Sorry if it sounds rude but this is what you are. Thanks We use couple services at our home. When I was watching the recent ind vs aus matches, I hardly had any problem and I could even watch on my laptop too. When I am watching ind vs eng matches these days on this app, it stops and keeps loading every few minutes (sometimes every few seconds and it actually mutes the audio for the sport after couple of adds with loud music during over breaks), and even worse is that I sometimes need to restart my phone as I keep hearing the commentary and sounds only without the video. My net is fine and it works at 100 mbps. It would be nice if it could be addressed. I m giving 3 rating though for making the matches available to watch. For the past one week, the internet has been completely non-functional and the device continuously shows a red blinking light. Despite raising a complaint with your customer support, no technician has visited to resolve the issue. This prolonged outage has caused significant inconvenience, and the lack of action from your side is highly disappointing. Since I have not been able to use the services I am paying for, I request a refund for the downtime and ask you to arrange for the removal of your equipment at the earliest. Kindly consider this as my final request. If the issue is not addressed immediately, I will be discontinuing Jio Fiber and switching to Airtel services. Looking forward to your prompt resolution. ### 1/5 — Can't even login on TV. *2025-05-24* It's so stupid when I can't even login my account on TV without the Jio subscription. I paid for the subscription in hope to watch on TV and they don't clarify it anywhere that it won't work on TV. My money is gone now. I won't be watching on phone at all. It's super frustrating when these OTT platforms make u do stuff like these. One of the reasons I hate about online platforms. I request Ambaniji to replace the name of Jio TV to Jio Ads TV bcoz the Bombardment of Ads starts when you just plug in Jio TV and they will not go at all until you switch off it. This TV platform is only for those who likes Ads only NOT the CONTENT. Sorry guys (who are fond of watching ads) you may be interrupted to watch program content. The premium content, a cornerstone of its appeal, is plagued by a litany of issues that render it virtually unusable. Constant buffering and lagging are the most common culprits, turning what should be a relaxing viewing experience into a torturous ordeal. The app frequently freezes or crashes, forcing users to restart it multiple times. Even when the content manages to play, the picture quality is often subpar, with blurry images and pixelation. Navigation and interface are equally problematic. The app's design is cluttered and confusing, making it difficult to find the content you're looking for. Search functions are unreliable, often yielding irrelevant results or failing to find anything at all. It's truly disappointing to see a once-promising platform fall so far short of expectations. JioTV's premium content is a wasted opportunity, and the technical issues are simply unacceptable. Until these problems are addressed, it's safe to say that JioTV remains a frustrating and unreliable streaming service. ### 1/5 — Most basic app *2024-02-09* This app is pretty basic. Video quality is BAD, no subtitles options. JIO gives sony liv and zee5 subscription with certain recharge plans. So i did an annual plan recharge. Only after doing it i found out i have to watch zee5 and sony liv contents through this app. So i tried watching this movie “everything everyone all at once” which has a lot of mandarin dialogues. Since this app doesn't provide subtitles i can't watch the movie. Just make it possible yo watch it in the sony live and zee5 app jio team. I really want to uninstall this pathetic app as soon as possible ### 1/5 — Video Player Bugs *2023-11-23* Whenever playing any video normally.. without fast forwarding it.. always after 1 or 2 mins playback video loops and starts from the beginning automatically or sometimes random video starts automatically.. don't know what causing it but what fixes this issue for next 1 min atleast while watching is just pause the video select video quality either auto or low.. then video starts where it was stopped working.. have to do this again and again for fixing and watching whole video completely.. ### 1/5 — Can’t watch any shows *2023-11-08* Your JioCinema app no longer works for any Colors Kannada shows. But as soon as I recharged it for 3 months issue started. Then I bought jio wifi modem. Again 1st month was ok but soon it’s data got exhausted and now wifi network also does works that good anymore . Considering that this is a free app (for all Jio users) the number of live channels it features is just unbelievable. Only few channels are missing (like the ones which we need Hotstar for).
