### 3/5 — App has a bug and is not attended for long

*2026-07-29*

There’s a bug where it asks the notification configuration. The app freezes at that stage and does not move forward. I have to close the app and reopen it every time. This issues has been there for a really long time and I’m surprised they haven’t fixed it.

### 2/5 — Excellent products.

*2026-07-09, version 259.1.0*

Jira cloud is an excellent example of how web and device based products should be like. Jira, in my opinion, out performs all others in its class.

### 3/5 — Enhancement request

*2026-07-08, version 259.0.0*

App works fine but I have a minor complaint about the UI. On iPad, ticket cards are too easily dismissed by the slightest gesture. When I open a ticket as a popover, then try to scroll, the card is dismissed if my scroll gesture goes slightly off axis. It is very frustrating.

### 3/5 — Can’t read text

*2026-06-17, version 257.1.0*

Our company uses Jira for ticketing system. We are unable to read text from users in dark mode on iOS.

### 3/5 — It’s okay, I guess.

*2026-06-11, version 257.1.0*

I mean, it could be worse.

### 3/5 — Let us run the iPad app on Mac!

*2026-06-08, version 257.0.0*

After the really amazing native Mac app was killed I keep hoping they enable the iPad app to run on Mac.

### 3/5 — Internal forms don’t work

*2026-05-28, version 256.0.0*

I can never fill out an internal form on the app. I always have to use the web version and when I begin filling out the form in Safari, the webpage always crashes.

### 2/5 — Anjali Deshmukh

*2026-05-27*

It took too long for you to understand that Jira user can’t use “@“ to loop in someone in conversation, while replying to someone’s message. But now the feature is added and is very useful. Still, runtime spellcheck feature seems missing. Please add it and just underline the misspelled word but do not autocorrect it; just suggest the correct word/spelling.
Thanks

### 1/5 — Needs force restarting every time

*2026-05-11, version 254.0.0*

Every time I open it, it needs force restarting as it's stuck on selecting notifications. Broken app

### 1/5 — Bugs everywhere

*2026-05-09, version 254.0.0*

Move an item in the same column to order by priority? Reverts back. This thing is so buggy it's unusable

### 1/5 — Broken half the times

*2026-05-05, version 254.0.0*

Get better engineers pleaseeee

### 1/5 — Verification code doesn’t come until 10 mins later

*2026-05-01, version 254.0.0*

Verification code doesn’t come until 10 mins later - this is super inconvenient and sometime the system ask you twice for the verification code. Super unnecessary.

### 1/5 — Won’t work on iOS beta

*2026-04-27, version 253.2.0*

Locks you out if using developer or public betas. Makes work more difficult if your job is to provide future software feedback and report concerns. At least give me 1 click to open a browser to the work link I just clicked on that bought me to the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Tried to use the insulate my other didn’t work

*2026-08-10, version 261.3.0*

Turns out the tickets aren’t paper

### 1/5 — Not Functional

*2026-07-31, version 260.1.0*

Logging in I’m prompted to setup notifications yet can’t get past the screen. Cool.

### 1/5 — Brainless design - bugs

*2026-07-15, version 259.1.0*

When the boomer generation are gone, so will Atlassian 🙏

### 1/5 — Terrible experience

*2026-07-08, version 259.0.0*

Unable to switch sites. No matter what I do it remembers the wrong site. I chose the wrong one because there was no description (very bad UX design), just a random suffix. Then I cannot switch out of the bad account. No matter what I try, it takes me right back. Log out, delete cookies for Safari, delete/reinstall app. This is the worst app experience I can remember.

### 1/5 — Last update - worse ever

*2026-06-22, version 258.0.0*

In the last update I can’t copy links. I can’t see settings because I don’t have enable notifications. I can’t see latest tickets created.

### 1/5 — Full of bugs, doesn’t work

*2026-06-09, version 257.0.0*

Received multiple invites to join a space, yet every time I try to join, it says I don’t have access to the space. Customer support is also an AI agent and won’t put me through to an account specialist.

### 1/5 — More and more frustrating

*2026-06-06, version 256.0.0*

This app is just getting worse and worse, much like JIRA. Can’t use timeline in the mobile app. We’re in 2026 and with advent of AI coding, really? Even if we could, the opinionated layouts and lack of “just being able to simplify a view” is turning this app into the MySpace of project management. I just literally spent 4 hours trying to create a simple roadmap view that actually showed a roadmap on the majority of the screen… Sounds simple? Not with JIRA. Every view I went into, there was at least one “you can’t do this without this feature enabled roadblock”. What if I want to have names instead of issue IDs as the hyperlinks and only show that? Nope, no can do in this version (or probably any). The fact that this has a rating of 4.6 is review gaslighting.

### 1/5 — Not friendly interface

*2026-06-06, version 256.0.0*

Not friendly interface

### 1/5 — Using Jira in app

*2026-06-02, version 256.0.0*

Experience of Jira in app for enterprise is quite challenging we need to login multiple times

### 1/5 — No Flexibility

*2026-06-02, version 256.0.0*

Chose a site during first download and now it won’t let me change sites even though I know I have access to others. Tried redownloading app, clearing data, and different devices nothing worked and documentation about the app is horrible on their site

### 5/5 — Great on desktop and on the go
