Capture ideas for the book you write on Mac. Jiraiya for iPhone is a companion to the Mac writing app. Collect material while you are away from your desk and read books created on Mac. Manuscript writing, outline editing, EPUB and M4B export, and audio generation take place in the Mac app. FIELD NOTES • Capture ideas with text, photos, or voice • Keep the capture time and, when permitted, location • Add notes quickly from widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, or the Action Button ORGANIZE YOUR MATERIAL On supported devices, Sennin Mode suggests tags and writing prompts on device. It requires an Apple Intelligence capable device. READ YOUR BOOKS Browse books created on Mac and synced through iCloud, organized by act, chapter, and section. When rereading sparks a thought, save it as a new Field Note. DASHBOARD View the days, time, and characters you wrote on Mac, plus your KDP sales summaries, in Dashboard. Switch between Writing and Sales performance. In Writing, choose a book and a period (7 days, 30 days, 3 months, or 1 year). Records and summaries are created on Mac and arrive through iCloud; iPhone is view-only. Only time and character counts are recorded, never the text itself. KDP sales appear only after you explicitly enable sales summary sync on Mac. Original Excel files, ASINs, KDP Dashboard estimates, and Payment Reports are not uploaded to iCloud. JIRAIYA PRO Your subscription is shared with the Mac app. On Mac, unlimited books, EPUB Reader preview, PDF export, Focus Mode, EPUB export, and M4B export are Pro features. The free Mac version includes one book. Manuscript writing and file export also take place on Mac. iCloud sync requires the same Apple Account on each device. Photo supports the library or camera. • Field Note dates, times, and cards are easier to scan, and content stays clear of the bottom navigation. • Writing prompts remain suggestions on the timeline and are no longer inserted into a new note. • The writing chart now shows characters entered instead of a negative value after deletions. ### 3.2 — 2026-09-20 See the writing you did on Mac, on iPhone. • The Sales tab is now Dashboard.
