### 5/5 — Excellent resource

*2020-07-08*

I have been using this application for many years now, and it is one of my go to tools when I need to look up a kanji, try and remember how to write one, or when I’m looking up a new word that I’m not sure of the meaning. The developer continues to update this application, and has done an excellent job in its creation. Highly recommended, a very powerful tool to have in your pocket or on your tablet.

### 5/5 — The ultimate kanji dictionary

*2019-08-08*

Honestly, this has got to be one of the most detailed kanji dictionaries written in English and available on electronic devices. The data used seems to be all original work and the creators of this dictionary have put decades of effort into it. Compared to a free dictionary such as KANJIDIC, the entries are a lot more detailed and hyperlinks between definitions, explanatory notes, vocabulary examples meticulously placed in every definition make this a must-have. I really recommend this for anyone who wants a solid dictionary to look up kanji. I also recommend the PC version as it has even more configuration.

### 5/5 — Great!

Love, love, love, love this app! The search is great, choose to search by handwriting, radicals, reading, meaning, stroke number or some combination of them. No app helps me find kanji so easily. I like that they also link to other kanji, click on part of a compound and it brings me to the character.

The "decompose" feature makes learning the kanji so nice since it breaks it down so you can see what it is composed of. The stroke order opens up a large video showing the order as well.

The audio and drills are nice. Quizzes for katakana, hiragana, and kanji.

There are handy preset flashcards for JLPT, grade, kanji-by-meaning lists, as well as custom ones made by adding the kanji you want. Only things I wish it had that only Midori has; white board to practice drawing kanji right next to the stroke order, and the kanji used in several sample sentences. Either way 5/5!

### 5/5 — Just amazing!

An astounding app! I liked it so much I bought it for my PC (way more costly). At first there seems a lot to get to know about how it works but after a very short time it becomes easy. I have tried many apps but this is the best, especially to translate and to understand the kanji. The dictionary part is detailed and contains all you need in a search. The other commentor said it all...really all you need!

### 5/5 — Finally

A real kanji dictionary. Compare this to Wisho Touch, which claims to be a kanji dictionary, but has crap for content, and costs at least $5 more than this one.
