Lookups are element based, using the original system of 632 basic visual elements. No need to count strokes, JiShop’s radical-based dictionary does the work for you. The table of radicals allows you to fully specify any kanji.

iOS9 for iPad has this cool feature called Slide Over.  Where you can invoke an overlay screen on the right side of the screen and pick a secondary app to use.  Sadly, Jishop is not available for selection.  Can you add this feature?  Thanks.

How is it that there are no ratings for this excellent app?? I use this app daily as I learn & practice kanji. I'm not ready to step up to the "advanced" level yet but won't hesitate when I get to that point. Learning Nihongo? Get this, you'll like it.
