I know it’s new but when I use the microphone to record a session it fails to record about half the time which makes me lose time and forget techniques. Next is tracking days you’ve rolled never works. It’s worked about reloading the app once but right now I’ve rolled 4 times this week and it says I’ve rolled zero. And lastly you need to increase the experience, ranks, and levels to a massive degree. I’ve only been using this app for a couple weeks and I’m already half way to max level. BJJ is the long game. I should probably still be a recruit. ### 3/5 — Good app but far too pricey *2026-01-05, version 1.1.15* It’s a great app and concept. However, $129 a year for a brand new app which has a decent amount of bugs is unreasonable. Due to the fact that AI is also not always accurate - sparring summaries are not always correct and often times have random assessments of the round. Absolute robbery for what you get. **Developer response:** Hi John BJJ costs about 2000 dollars per year to have a membership + clothing to do it. For just a few % of that spend you get to log all of your training, get a specific BJJ workout program, place to save all your bookmarked techniques and personalised coaching from the analysis. Tried to log in but it said that I needed to confirm my email address first. However I never received a confirmation email. There was no way to request a new confirmation email. I even tried a “forgot my password” to have them email me a new password link but I never got an email for that either. Feels very scammy. **Developer response:** Hi there seems unusual! Useless *2026-01-09* This apps requires a lot of information from you and your academy only to not be usable unless you pay lots of money. **Developer response:** We ask you questions to personalise your experience. Then you get a free 14 day trial of the app, no payment needed and you can cancel at any time. ### 1/5 — No free option. *2026-01-09* Gross. **Developer response:** Hey there, Our offering is simple. We've built a premium app with advanced AI features by a team that cares. We allow you to use the app for free for 14 days, no risk. If you like it, and you can see how it helps your game (like many do!) it's a small fee compared to what you pay for BJJ as a whole over the year. "Freemium" is often more frustrating than free trial then paid! You're stuck with 1 or 2 actions a day and then paywalled. We appreciate you would like to get paid for the work you do day to day, we are suggesting the same applies here. We've worked hard on this product, and we're going to keep investing into it this year. A product of this quality and level of AI cannot be free, it's impossible. ### 2/5 — Works great when it works *2026-03-06* It was working great for logging my first few sessions. I have not been able to log any sessions for the past month because the AI is currently “Analyzing my sparring sessions”. I tried deleting the session and it still appears and still unable to log any sessions. Cool of them to give out but imagine once the trial ends. No way to use the app. If you’re subscription fatigued this will not be good for you. The metrics and the app are well polished with some serious thought has been put to the app. The do hunting gamifies the experience which I find to be inspirational for new and uncomfortable positions. The ranking system I find to be a cool idea but I’m in competition with myself and not others so I find little use for it. However if you want to see how you stack up against others all power to you. The crown piece here is the ai analyzer. Speaking into the mic about your class and having it analyzed by the ai to structure it correctly is cool and innovative. I’ve been doing jiujitsu for 6 years and one thing for sure. The stats will for sure not be accurate as I can’t remember how many sessions I’ve learned the various positions but nonetheless cool idea. Not a fan of the subscription model and will be passing on to another tracker for me. Great app! **Developer response:** Hi We’ve fixed l of those issues and made the XP system far longer to reach the max level. Once you reach level 100 you can then “prestige” for a new 0-100.
