Search filters need improvement, app crashes randomly, loads very slow, video replays of matches don’t load properly, and over all it is just very lackluster. I like that there is a nice structure already built but please have the developers fix all the problems with the apps. ### 1/5 — New update is trash *2024-03-01, version 1.4* The app was on a decline for the last half of 2023, when they released an update I thought that may be why they didn’t fix any of the bugs, because they were developing a new app. I was wrong. All that changed was the look. All of the old bugs still exists but now even more bugs are present. The app is useless in its current state. I’m not sure who’s profile picture it gave my account but it’s not me and it’s the same one as on the website. When I tried to change it, the app crashed. I’ve deleted and reinstalled this app so many times but it’s basically useless. I haven’t been able to search divisions in months because the options don’t work. Anything I’d want to use the app for doesn’t work so I end up having to use the website anyway. The app used to be good now hardly works. But the other issue I had is that this is my 3rd JJWL tournament I’ve competed in. And they would always send an email letting you know the doors open at 7:15am and weigh ins are at 7:30am. They failed to send this email. When I went in at 9:20am I was turned away saying they aren’t doing weigh ins for my division yet. So I wasted time, gas, and money. If you are going to change something like that you NEED to send a email. Especially since we come from all over the city and state to do this tournament. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2023-10-24, version 1.3* Continuously booting me when trying to register. Furthermore, attempting to edit my profile photo consistently leads to the app crashing. These problems severely hinder my ability to fully utilize the app's potential. As of recently it doesn’t have any of my user info and I have access to nothing. I can’t even look at competitions for future and past. This is frustrating because I wanted this for it’s mobility vs having to get on a computer. Scrolling through over 1000 competitors 10 at a time is a non-starter. Kudos for trying to bring functionality but sorry no advantage points awarded for such a feeble effort. Penalty instead for unreasonable delay in making this app work well lol. Back to the mats! ### 1/5 — Fix bugs *2025-11-17, version 1.6* I don’t know who manages this app but it’s in desperate need of upgrades, you can’t update profile changes, I tried o line site and it can find the fighter states “this fighter doesn’t exist” I can’t change privacy settings or the size of my child’s rash guard size, they keep giving him the size from 3 yrs ago. The brackets link doesn’t work it just closes the app… I can’t change privacy keep going but it just needs major updates ### 1/5 — App is trash! *2025-09-18, version 1.6* I downloaded this app to use the chat feature since it no longer shows up on the website. The chat feature does not work in this app. As soon as I select start new conversation, it’s frozen and I can’t type in the chat. I received links to fix my son’s bracket and never got the chance to because the links didn’t work, they no longer use email and the chat in this app doesn’t work. Absolute TRASH ### 1/5 — Very poor ux *2025-07-29, version 1.6* UI load time is horrendous. Dropdown data doesn't populate so no filter selections can be made. The JJWL is a dead fish on the mat. If you want help I have over a decade of experience writing FE BE and mobile. It was easy before but now you can login to multiple accounts on one app. It’s great for my family. Also, they added something where I can cancel events right on the app and the credit gets automatically added to my account wallet.
