## What is Jjinlomat?

Jjinlomat is a community food map built by locals and visitors.

Discover places through the experiences of people who know the neighborhood and have visited the restaurant, rather than blog ads or incentivized reviews. Browse local restaurants, independent cafés, and delivery spots in available regions.

Create and share your own food map

• Turn on My on the map to see only places you have added or saved.
• Share a link to your personal food map from My Page.
• Open a shared link to import the places you can access into your own map.

Features

• Browse basic place information on maps, lists, search, and rankings in available regions without signing in or verifying a local qualification.
• Confirm your location in the same area on 7 different days within the past 14 days to participate as a current resident for 30 days. The days do not need to be consecutive.
• Verify your residence history to participate as a longtime local in qualifying areas.
• Even without a local qualification, you can add eligible places and vote for or against them within 60 km of your current location. When adding a place, confirm your location to search nearby areas. Eligibility is checked again for the place you choose.
• See recommendations and downvotes from locals and visitors, and write about positive experiences instead of giving star ratings.
• Save and share places, report content, block authors, and keep places private.

Each account has one vote per place. You can switch between a recommendation and a downvote, or cancel your vote. Each day in Korean time, you can newly rate up to 3 different restaurants and 3 different cafés.

For PDF verification, the original extract PDF, its password, your name, resident registration number, and detailed addresses stay on your device. Only the minimum information needed for regional verification and protected document verification data are submitted. If automatic checks cannot be completed, a protected document verification number is retained for up to 72 hours and then deleted.

If you choose quick authentication, your name, date of birth, mobile number, and selected authentication method are sent through APITree to Government24 and authentication providers to issue a resident registration extract. We do not ask you to enter a resident registration number. Approve the request in your selected authentication app. Your inputs, original extract, and detailed addresses are not retained after processing. Only the minimum qualification information, including verified regions, residence tiers, verification time, and consent records, is retained. Quick authentication is limited to 2,000 successful verifications per month across the service and one success per device; renewals are not currently offered. A non-reversible device success record is retained separately from account deletion while this limit applies. PDF verification remains available as an alternative, including when the limit is reached. APITree, Government24, and authentication providers may process necessary information under their privacy policies and applicable law. These checks do not fully guarantee actual current residence or the identity of the account holder.
