As an aside, why is signing in required to use the app? Why can’t I just view the schedule, for example, without logging in?

Can't sign in. The app is completely useless.
The first screen says "use the email you used to register". After doing so you get a message saying"the credentials you use are invalid. Please try again with valid credentials."

I noted that the latest version on the Google play site for Android is v. 1.3, released Dec 31. One hopes that an update for iPhone is forthcoming to resolve the credential issue.

Signing in is easy, just reset the PW first! Once you get past that small hurdle, the app is a dream.
