So I do not feel it is a good prep app for the CCAT. I know it is designed by the makers of the CCAT but I do not feel that this is a good use of my prep time. There are other resources out there with actual practice questions that are similar to CCAT. ### 2/5 — Mis-represented for CCAT Testing *2020-12-09, version 4.7.6* Tho a fun app, I am not sure why Criteria Corp lists this app on their website as a test preparation app for CCAT? I’ll give it 2 stars for not being DIRECTLY useful for CCAT preparation. The only thing this has in common is it helps get the brain thinking and training for rapid fire decision making. Though, It lacks the more in-depth questions one would see on Criteria Corps Cognitive Aptitude Testing. I would like to see more abstract questions that one would see on the CCAT. Again, fun app, had it not been mis-represented for CCAT preparation, I would have ranked it much higher. ### 3/5 — Good for CCAT test prep but buggy... *2020-11-25, version 4.7.5* I don’t see this panning out for anything other than CCAT test prep that some employers require. App is buggy, randomly shuts down, screens are blank and long load time. Now that I’m using it on an iPhone 11, I can’t even finish the first assessment. It keeps on kicking me out of the app half way through. I can make an assumption that the max is 100 like traditional tests but doesn’t say that anywhere. I found that the concept was interesting and wanted to check it out, while it was all “fun & games” it doesn’t show any opportunity’s in my area. My guess is it may not be well known enough or employers don’t find it useful. Also no way to delete account in app. Glad I didn't upload my resume or too much personal info, you need to consider privacy and what happens when a job search is finished! ### 1/5 — Trash The App *2021-03-30, version 4.8.1* This app doesn’t have anything going for it, but good luck leaving it! You are not able to close your account easily and THEY WILL continue contacting you with pointless emails. You can’t easily delete your account either. Not a fan. One star. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2019-10-05, version 4.3.2* This app thinks it can rate your potential using extremely basic math, word and visuals that my 6 year old niece was able to score in the top 25% using. If you are a human plebe, this might make you feel good about yourself, but if your a serious applicant and actually want metrics that real employers can use, i would suggest you stick to the tests the employers create, or honest to god schooling or even perhaps a certification program. This app is just a joke. ### 1/5 — Ableist piece of fecal matter *2018-09-19, version 3.0.6* I’m not convinced that relying on these scores, or anything else from this company, isn’t an ADA lawsuit waiting to happen. These are precisely the sort of tests that the FAILURE of which are used to diagnose autism! You’re literally excluding perfectly high-functioning adults with this. Oh, and anyone with eyesight problems, any kind of color-blindness, face-blindness, dyslexia. Heck, if you’re not 100% neurotypical with 20/20 vision, DO NOT BOTHER!!! This is an EXTREMELY unfriendly app for disabled adults. I pray that no one’s seriously making hiring decisions with this company’s app, because both parties deserve to be sued into the ground in that case! ### 1/5 — App is useless *2018-09-17, version 3.0.6* Don’t waste your time. I scored high enough to receive career help and I sent in my cover letter and resume as requested and never heard back. That was a month ago. The jobs within the app are all available on other sites. ### 1/5 — Lame app. Not helpful. *2018-08-31, version 3.0.5* The company does not actually assist you with your job search after you achieve high scores in the games. I received an email from someone on their staff, replied with my resume, and never heard back. Gimmick through and through. Note to employers: don’t waste your money with this company but recruit through more effective means. 1 star. ### 1/5 — SCAM. *2018-08-03, version 3.0.3* After thorough review, it has been made clear that although this company originally intended to connect jobseekers with job providers, and they continuously suggest “top scorers ‘may’ be contacted by recruiters” this is categorically untrue. After speaking with the company on the phone it was explained that this is no longer true. As a top 1%er across the board: The games do not, in any way, give you the opportunity to get noticed professionally. This is a normal job hunting app, with games, and very few jobs. Unless your degree in data science or machine learning can apply to the warehouse and janitorial positions listed, you are better off calling a lawyer to file for damages related to false advertising as a means of income than trying to find a job through this fake app. Call me any time and dispute it JobFlare. Any time. ### 1/5 — Right after I hit Advanced Level, It crashed *2018-01-27, version 1.8.1* Downloaded this last night. It’s been less than 24 hours. I reached the advanced level, and right after that it gave me an error message saying “Your session has expired.” Now every time I try to re-open the app and log in, as soon as I put my email and password in, the screen goes black and it closes out. After numerous attempts, it let me log back in, but it didn’t save the last hour of work.. so it reverted back to a non-advanced status. All that work for nothing. :( ### 1/5 — Won’t even let me sign up 😟 *2017-11-26, version 1.7.1* I’ve tried to sign up for this sign up for this app via Facebook and with my email. Once I go past the basic info it will black out and shut down. I even did the good ole shut your phone off and turn it back on again. The games are fun and challenging, and I can’t wait to explore the job search side of this app, since I am currently searching for work. Some words of advice: don’t let your kids play with the app! My daughter took my personality quiz, and Meg and her team had to fix my profile for me. They were amazing! Meg was very responsive to my email and worked with me diligently to get the issue fixed. All wishing 48 hours. Great job! —- I recently go this app upon a recommendation of some fun puzzles. Using it I had to agree it was a nice time waster - job searches aside. After getting a 99% ability score I proceeded to finish out 5 stars in each of the games. Some took a few minute and others an hour, but I could not get level 5 on Infruition. It seemed like it was giving me the wrong result. So I decided to record it with a high speed camera and compare the counts of fruit to what the app was telling me was the greater number. And amazingly I now have video of the app making mistakes. Was this crappy programming or a bug introduced on purpose?
