You can tell immediately that JobHub wasn't designed by some guy in a suit who’s never stepped foot on a job site. It’s clearly made for tradesmen, by tradesmen. The way it handles material organization by phase—keeping 'Slab' and 'Trim' separate—is exactly how we think in the field. It cuts out the spreadsheet clutter and lets us focus on the actual work. Easily the most practical tool in my belt right now. Finally something made for us!

Electrician here! I had the privilege of being involved in the beta test and let me tell you, from keeping track of material, to uploading and editing PDFs, and even making notes, this app does it all! Once a job is created and it has the desired format, that job can be set as a template so that for the next one, it’s essentially copy and paste. Notes can be marked as incomplete/complete, and material can be marked as ordered or undelivered, and this app keeps track of it all. There’s so many features that you’ll just have to find out for yourself!

Rose can do more

She'll text or email a whole job's schedule to anyone you name, even a crew who isn't assigned to it, and she can cut a purchase order without sending you to another screen. You can copy anything she writes straight into a text. Tap the rose button on any screen and ask.


Every document on the job

A job holds more than the one set of plans now. Permits, quotes and revised sheets sit on it together, and you can send any of them out. When you attach a file to an email, choose Job Documents.


Close out a punch list in one pass

Finished warranty items the client never signed off on can be confirmed together, under one reason, instead of one at a time.

Rose
Ask her about a job and she answers from your own numbers. She takes you to the screen rather than reading out the steps, and she can do it for you, a reminder, a note, a material, a date on the schedule, showing you what she'll change before it happens. Tap the rose button on any screen.

Photos and comments both ways
Photos a sub sends land in the job's photos now, and you can comment on any of them. Post one notice everyone reads, with a thread per sub. It's all on the job's Auto Sync card.

Templates bring their schedule
A template can carry its dates, so a new job starts with the schedule already on it. Tap Add Job, then Templates.

Stock by location
Count stock into a van or a box instead of one pile. Open Inventory and tap the scan button, it tells you where it's counting before you start.

Shared jobs

Your flooring guy stops asking whether the painters finished.
Open the job, tap Auto Sync, invite the other company by email.
They see the schedule and confirm their own dates.

Materials

Three receptacles suggests three plates, and it already knows
which supplier they come from. Type the item, take the
suggestion, keep going. The keyboard never drops.

Order of operations

Sheetrock waits for insulation. Roofing and insulation wait for
nobody. Say it once on the Auto Sync screen and it holds on every
job after that. Move insulation and everything behind it moves.

Price changes

Is it 95 cents or 56? Both tickets now open on one card, the one
that set your price and the one asking to change it.

Notes

Return makes a checkbox.

Take a photo without opening the app

A new Control Center button opens the camera straight to the job you
are standing on. Those photos remember where they were taken, so
anything you have not filed yet waits for you with the job already
filled in.

Import your customers from your phone

Bring your address book in instead of typing a thousand names.
Duplicates are skipped, so importing twice is safe.

Orders keep their own lines

An order now records exactly what was on it, so the Orders tab reads
the real order instead of working it out from the checklist. Marking
something undelivered takes it off that one order, not off every
order the item appears on.

Invoices

You can let someone write invoices without giving them the rest of
the book.

A junk folder for your inbox

Marketing mail is filtered out on its own and you can block a sender.
Nothing that gets filtered disappears, it lands in Junk where you can
still read it.

Rose

Rose can text a crew their schedule and send to supervisors and
contractors, not just crews. She tells you when you have ordered for a
phase that has no date on the calendar, and if a phase is one you
never schedule, you can say so and she stops asking.

Signing up no longer asks for money before the product has done
anything for you.
