## What is Jobsheet?

Shoot the job. Put each photo under the work it shows.
Send an estimate or invoice with each photo printed right under the work it proves.
Nobody argues with a bill they can see. No account, no sign-in, no signal needed.

Jobsheet does the paperwork a one-truck contractor has to do: the estimate, the invoice, the booking, the miles and the hours. It works in a basement with no bars.

NEW IN 1.8: ONE STEP AT A TIME

Jobsheet has a calmer look: cream paper, black ink and one deep green for everything you tap. A new job asks one thing at a time: who it's for, then what you did, with the photos. The Send button comes on once the job has a customer, the work and a price. Your job list shows each job's first photos, so you can find the job by looking at it.

SPEAK THE INVOICE

On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, talk through the job and it becomes line items to check. A wand rewrites rough notes into wording a customer respects. The camera reads a supply-house receipt onto the job as a materials line. All on your phone, private and free.

WHERE THE PHOTOS GO

Your business details at the top, the work in the middle, and each photo under the line it documents. Not a gallery at the back nobody scrolls to. Arrows, circles and notes go on before it prints, and each photo can carry the date, time and address.

SCHEDULING THAT KNOWS WHEN YOU ARE FREE

Book a job and Jobsheet works out your open times from your hours, your days and the drive time around what is booked. A dentist appointment on your calendar blocks a slot like a job does, and a clash gets a warning.

ON YOUR WRIST AND YOUR HOME SCREEN

The Apple Watch app shows the day and starts or stops the clock and the drive. Widgets put your next job, the day, the money and your miles on the Home and Lock Screen. Booked jobs sync both ways with Apple Calendar.

MILEAGE, KEPT THE WAY THE IRS ASKS

Tap start when you pull away and Jobsheet measures the drive by GPS until you tap stop, screen locked or not. Every trip keeps the date, destination, miles and business purpose, with the standard rate applied, ready for Schedule C.

THE CLOCK RUNS ON THE JOB

Start the clock when work begins, stop it when you leave. Billable time lands on the invoice at your labor rate.

THE CUSTOMER SIGNS ON YOUR PHONE

They sign on a proper line, and the signature prints with their name, the amount authorized, the time and the place. Took a deposit? The document subtracts it and leads with what is still owed.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER

Everything lives on your phone. Turn on iCloud backup and your records are copied to your own iCloud, not ours. Stop subscribing and everything you made stays readable: your records are never held hostage.

EN ESPAÑOL

The whole app is in Spanish, and each estimate or invoice can go out in English or Spanish, whatever language your phone is in.

FOR THE ONE-TRUCK SHOP

Electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, roofers, handymen, painters and landscapers. Anyone who does the work and writes the paperwork after.

PRICING

Your first job is free, start to finish: the estimate, the photos, the invoice and the payment. After that, Jobsheet Pro is $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year, in US dollars, charged to your Apple Account when you subscribe. It renews automatically at the same price until you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8 — 2026-09-25

Jobsheet 1.8 is a new look and an easier start.

A NEW LOOK
Cream paper, black ink and one deep green for everything you tap, with a new icon to match: a camera printing the bill.

ONE STEP AT A TIME
A new job asks one thing at a time: who it's for, then what you did, with the photos. The Send button comes on once the job has a customer, the work and a price, and everything else waits under "More for this job".

PHOTOS ON THE JOB LIST
Each job shows its first photos on the Jobs list, the Schedule and Search, so you can find it by looking at it.

YOUR FIRST JOB IS FREE
Take one job all the way, free: the estimate, the invoice, the signature and the payment. After that, Jobsheet Pro is $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year. If you already subscribe, nothing changes.

ESTIMATES IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH
Settings › Estimates and invoices in: pick the language your customers get, whatever language your phone is in.

APPLE WATCH
The watch app wears the new green too. And if you skipped 1.7.1: a press on the wrist is always answered or explained, never left on a spinner, and Start drive works with the phone locked in your pocket when "Keep measuring if the app closes" is on.

### 1.7.1 — 2026-09-15

Jobsheet 1.7.1 is a small update, mostly for the wrist.

APPLE WATCH
A command from the watch never sits on a spinner. The phone answers it, or the watch says what to do next. Press Start drive with the phone locked in your pocket and, with "Keep measuring if the app closes" turned on in Settings, the drive starts and the miles count from there. With it off, the watch says so, and a note lands on your iPhone's Lock Screen: one tap on it starts the drive. A press that reaches the phone late is done once, never twice and never hours after you made it, and a drive left open from another day is not picked up by the wrist: the phone shows it and asks whether to keep going or stop and save it.

GET PAID
Apple Cash is in the How to Pay box on the invoice, beside Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, check or your own payment link, and a payment can be recorded as Apple Cash so the record says how the money came in.

### 1.7 — 2026-09-14

Jobsheet 1.7 is the biggest update since launch. Here is what is new, in the order you will run into it.

A NEW LOOK
The app moves to Liquid Glass. Controls float over the work instead of boxing it in, and the paper looks like paper. A Search tab finds any job, customer, address or line item in a few letters. The icon is a hard hat, easy to spot on a full Home Screen.

APPLE WATCH
Jobsheet is on your wrist. Today's jobs show in order, with the time and the street. Start and stop the clock on a job without taking the phone out of your pocket, and start and stop a drive the same way. A Money page shows what you are owed, what is quoted and waiting, and what got paid this month. Complications put your next job and the year's business miles on the watch face. The phone keeps the records; the watch needs it within reach.

WIDGETS
Five widgets for the Home Screen, plus a Lock Screen set:
- Next job: who, when and where, at a glance
- Today: your day in order, and the rest of the week on the large size
- Money: what you are owed, what is out, what came in
- Quick actions: the clock, a new job, a drive, one tap each
- Mileage: what this year's miles are worth so far
The cards update the moment something changes in the app.

APPLE CALENDAR, BOTH WAYS
Turn it on in Settings and every booked job lands on your Apple Calendar with the address and a link back. Move it or delete it in Calendar and the booking here follows. Your other calendars show on the Schedule too, so a dentist appointment and a job never fight over the same hour. Jobs you already put on the calendar in 1.6 are picked up, not doubled.

THE DRIVE, ON A MAP
A tracked drive draws its route on a map as you go, and every trip in the mileage log keeps a picture of where it went, so the record shows the route, not just a number.

SPEAK THE WORK
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, talk through the job and it becomes line items. One tap turns rough notes into wording a customer respects. Point the camera at a supply-house receipt and it lands on the job as a materials line. All of it on the phone: private, no signal needed, no cost.

GET PAID
Record partial or full payments with a running balance. Invoices carry a due date and say so when it has passed. A How to Pay box lists Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Cash, check or your own payment link with a QR code. Payments can be recorded as Apple Cash too. Your logo prints at the top of every invoice.

EN ESPAÑOL
The whole app is in Spanish, including the watch and the widgets. Switch your iPhone's language and Jobsheet follows.

FASTER, SMOOTHER, FIXED
The Jobs list scrolls at the phone's full refresh rate, tab switches are lighter, and route pictures render off the main thread. A hot phone backs off the effects and keeps working. Dozens of fixes from the review pass: a marked-up photo never sends stale, Send stays on an accepted estimate, and a booked job survives its calendar going away.

### 1.6 — 2026-08-27

Jobsheet now uses your iPhone's own intelligence - on your phone, private, working with no signal, at no cost:

SPEAK THE WORK
- Talk through the job and watch it become invoice line items - tasks, hours, and prices, ready to check and add
- Hears with the iPhone's newest dictation engine, tuned to trade terms, your price book, and your customers' names
- It knows your price book: "ceiling fan install" comes back at YOUR saved price, in your own wording
- Say the fix out loud - "the faucet was one fifty" - and it corrects just that line
- Lines appear live as it reads, and your first words are never lost to a slow start

MAKE IT PROFESSIONAL
- One tap turns rough field notes into clean wording your customer respects - the original stays one tap away

SCAN A RECEIPT
- Photograph a supply-house receipt and it lands on the job as a materials line, total read for you, with the receipt photo filed as proof
- Works on every iPhone

Plus everything new this year:

WIDGETS + LIVE ACTIVITY - your next job and this year's miles on the Home Screen; drives tracked live on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

GET PAID - record partial or full payments with a running balance; invoices show a "How to pay" box with Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, check, or your payment link plus a QR code; due dates with overdue flags; your logo on every invoice; a PAID stamp when the balance hits zero

MILEAGE - put a tracked drive on an invoice in one tap; monthly chart and IRS-ready CSV export

EN ESPAÑOL - the whole app, now in Spanish

SMOOTHER EVERYWHERE - first-tap buttons, sheets that stay open, decluttered screens, iCloud backup
