My opinion
I great app for gigs!
Fake!!!!!!
Help!!! They say they got jobs all the time but yeah every time I turn around when I actually call the businesses they turn around and throw it back in my face and say they have nothing. I did nothing to them or ever did make them feel like they could not give me a single job. I have always showed up and on time maybe because we’re overachievers they don’t want us to get the jobs because they know that they’re wrong about not answering and I’m so sick of it. I don’t know what else I can possibly do other than to write this review cause I’m so sick of them telling me all the time that they never have jobs. When clearly they do and I do know the business owners that work for certain companies but yet they still say they don’t have job jobs. That’s hilarious. I should not have to go to the Owner every single day to complain.

Lower pay but less restrictions
Overall the app is okay but still limiting shifts, especially if you’re used to retail/office/warehouse work without the need for specialized skills. The downfalls are the lack of higher paying shifts, sometimes shifts lack info so when you notify the local branch- they’ll just tell you what it needs & not apologize for missing the info on the app, app doesn’t allow screenshots & recording which is Sketchy itself because workers can’t protect themselves or their pay, they don’t categorize the shifts properly bc some General Labor shifts require Heavy Lifting or Specialized skills & specific Equipment. My local branch has terrible communication skills & Main Support Staff barely listens and tells you to deal with the local branch or quit the app. Same AI slop & delayed communication as other apps like Instawork & WorkWhile. Only pro to JobStack: they’re not as picky about your work experience to pick up shifts to work.
