As I arrived to the location, the app updated explaining that it would be lifting involved up to 50lbs. I was shocked but already accepted the position days prior. I was there about an hour until the employer told me I could leave early, then immediately got a call from people ready explaining that I’m excepting jobs that I am not able to do and that I will have to call before excepting a job position moving forward, as I tried explaining that the job description did not have details on what I will be doing. The woman at people ready called me a liar and threatened to deactivate my account during the phone call.
