Only paid store purchases that earned loyalty stamps are eligible, so every story is connected to a real, verified transaction. Plate Story gallery — real photos with privacy built in The community gallery on the rewards portal now displays actual photos instead of placeholders. When you opt in to the gallery, a derivative copy of your photo is generated with EXIF metadata (GPS, device info, timestamps) removed — only the pixel data is retained. Updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Use We've updated our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use with full details about the Plate Story feature: photo capture, EXIF removal, gallery opt-in, invite referrals, and the badge-only nature of the feature. Performance and security Enabled Android code obfuscation and resource shrinking for better app optimization. Various bug fixes and stability improvements. Your session now restores reliably and the app refreshes your access token automatically, so you stay logged in until you explicitly sign out. Reliable loading after reconnect If the rewards service is temporarily unreachable when you open the app, you'll now see a clear retry option instead of a stuck loading screen. The app also retries automatically in the background with smart backoff. Thank you for supporting a homegrown Kalibo, Aklan brand. Support local. Earn local. Your stories are saved in the app so you can look back on every JOCYL'S moment. You can also share a QR invite with friends to join JOCYL'S Rewards. Stay up to date, effortlessly The app now checks for new versions and lets you know when an update is available. A gentle banner appears at the top of the screen — tap "Update" to go straight to the App Store. For critical releases, a clear prompt guides you to update so you never miss important fixes. What's New on your profile A new "What's New" card on your Profile page shows the latest release notes, so you can always see what we've improved. If an update is available, there's a direct link to the App Store right from the card. Performance and stability We've made under-the-hood improvements to keep the app running smoothly. Your card image now renders correctly every time, the QR code appears in the right place, and the share sheet opens reliably so you can save it to your gallery. No more stuck "Saving…" button If you dismissed the share sheet, the Save button could sometimes stay stuck on "Saving…". That's fixed — the button always resets properly. Reliability safeguard We added a built-in timeout so that if the card image ever takes too long to render, you'll get a clear error message instead of an endless loading state. Save & share your loyalty card Export your digital loyalty card as an image and share it via your phone's share sheet — perfect for showing it at the counter without opening the app. Refreshed stamp schedule progress Your stamp progress now has a cleaner layout with updated brand colors, so your stamp balance and next reward are easier to read at a glance. Stamp rewards for every member Your stamp schedule now progresses for all members based on stamp balance — no campaign enrollment required. Everyone moves up the ladder. Clearer purchase history Transactions are now labeled "Purchase at store" with improved peso formatting across ledger formats, so your history is easier to understand. Smarter loyalty tiers Tiers are now filtered to match your store, so you only see rewards relevant to your Jocyl's branch. Thank you for supporting a homegrown Kalibo, Aklan brand. Support local.
