Like what many users has given the review, don’t bother applying the roles especially NTUC. So many available jobs and applied weeks ago but constantly got rejected. The customer service is also ridiculous and simply given a standard SOP answer. JOD please do better, if you’re expecting applicant to apply these roles and can’t even afford to approve the application, why bothered designing this app? Is this how you tell applicants that those available jobs posted are in high demands and but actually being advertised for fun because you don’t need any manpower at all. ### 1/5 — Cannot log in *2026-07-24, version 3.12.2* Cannot log in with my phone number. I click forgot password I key in my number and email, keep showing number error, but I never change hp number at all…there is no way to ask for help..omg not flexible at all ### 1/5 — McDonald Mangers and aunties treat staff treat workers like animals. *2026-07-16, version 3.12.1* I was severely abused, shouted at, and treated like an animal by a manager and aunties during my shift. I followed all rules and told her before using the toilet, but she gave me an unfair 1-star rating anyway. I emailed and WhatsApped Jod support to dispute this personal attack, but they are completely ignoring me. Jod does not protect its platform workers from toxic clients. ### 1/5 — Poor Cancellation Process and Unhelpful Suppor *2026-06-24, version 3.12.0* I have been a consistent gigger on this platform, but my experience today was extremely disappointing. The cancellation process is poorly designed and lacks transparency. The system only allows cancellation due to sickness, and even selecting “Other” requires supporting documents. Personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances are apparently not considered valid reasons without documentation. What is even more frustrating is that the cancellation button does not clearly indicate any cancellation deadline or timeframe. Users are expected to follow strict cancellation rules, yet the platform does not provide clear information upfront. In addition, no cancellation policy was provided to me when the job was approved. If such a policy exists, it should be clearly communicated and made available to users before it is enforced. It is unfair to hold giggers accountable for rules that were never properly disclosed. The customer support experience was equally disappointing. Instead of providing solutions, I received inconsistent responses and was repeatedly directed back to the app. My concerns were not properly addressed. The overall experience felt misleading and lacking in transparency. It also felt like the platform’s policies and processes mainly benefit the hirers, while giggers are left with very limited flexibility and support when genuine personal issues arise. This experience has significantly reduced my trust in the platform. ### 1/5 — just bad *2026-06-07, version 3.12.0* am i applying for a ceo/ director role? applied like 20 jobs and all is unsuccessful, even when i have relevant work experience and applied days in advance. If you're not going to give newcomers an opportunity, just remove the app and create a groupchat with the regulars instead. ### 1/5 — Keep increasing pts required to redeem rewards *2026-05-13, version 3.12.0* When I 1st started it was 60pts for a $5 voucher now it’s 200pts for the same $5 voucher. And it’s the same increase(%) in cost for higher rewards. For reference, when u just started you make 2 pts per hour of work. You do the math, you see if it’s worth it. ### 1/5 — Incentives is trash *2026-05-01, version 3.11.2* The company is probably trying to cut costs by reducing incentive amounts by 50% while increasing the requirements to qualify. The point system value has dropped by more than 50% as well. Overall, it’s a terrible app. The app crashes from time to time. If you’re just looking for occasional part-time work, you might still find something using this app. But if you’re planning to rely on it for a regular part-time job, you’re better off looking elsewhere. ### 4/5 — Job easy to get *2026-04-02, version 3.10.3* Easy to find part time jobs only downside is rating score. I hate the idea of having a rating score since they can employer don’t like u can rate u anyhow they one. Like the one for Paris baguette the one who rate me is HR, she doesn’t even work side by side with me and see how I work. I came in early and did dishwashing work still can rate me 2/5 for no reason. Didn’t justify or explain why I get 2/5…In case ppl don’t like u, don’t like ur face,skincolor or ur name or whatever reason tat is be mentally prepared or becuz low rating can affect ur future employment. Better yet go buy (amulet) goodluck charm with u. Better tat (thing) target tat individual who did u dirty. I’m being serious here and it is real cuz future employer see ur rating will only purposely give u 4/5 a lot of times after tat.
