If you can’t control the unit remotely, I don’t see the point of this app.

As much as we pay for these machines, you would think they would design a better app. The selection screen doesn’t even match the selection screen on my coffee maker. Doesn’t seem to be any way to change it. If there is a way. I can’t seem to find it.

Z10 connected to Wi-Fi successfully, and the coffee machine indicated it was connected. Cool Control also connected, and the JOE app successfully paired with the coffee machine. However, despite all devices being on Wi-Fi, the JOE app did not display the coffee machine. I had blue Wi-Fi modules and replaced them with white Wi-Fi Connect V2 modules. I deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone, and even disconnected and reconnected the coffee machine to Wi-Fi, but nothing resolved the issue.

Once I ignored the order page and just used preselects, it makes sense. The menu suggestions are a nice touch, and the status page is very helpful. Seeing a countdown to maintenance actions is handy.

The animation of coffee cup filling is fun.

I bought the Z10 machine, and was able to connect it to Wi-Fi, and this app have repeatedly failed to find the coffee machine on my Wi-Fi network. I’m considering returning it and getting an E series or something g lower than Z10. I repeat the APP CAN NOT FIND Z10.

I just found out that you can press and hold on one of the drinks to customize the strength and size. That’s awesome. I initially thought you could only use the preset drinks that came with the app, but after some investigation, I realized you can actually customize your drinks. There isn’t any information in the app that shows you this. Awesome!

Other drinks have similar mismatches. // The app doesn’t start in the order page for personalized products; instead, it chooses to start in the available products. // ‘Skip’ button in the app performs what is called ‘Cancel’  on the machine. Similar functions should have similar names. // Weird visual artifacts - the settings menu has a double check mark. No one reviewed this? // Adding products to the order page has no feedback. The button is tiny, and so when nothing happens, it’s easy to assume the button was missed. Navigating to the order menu shows that the drink was indeed being ordered. // Additional options are hidden at bottom of page, half-clipped. Should be easier to see and access. // Not a bad concept, but needs work to produce a shippable product. // Statistics page is nice. // Link to coffee machine manual doesn’t work. 🙄 Also, items that are in the order tab will randomly appear and disappear, so the time spent customizing them is wasted.
