I’ve been looking to make close friends in the Bay Area but It’s been tough as an “adult” after leaving school lol. I’ve tried a bunch of different ways like through Facebook groups, meetup.com, discord etc. this app does a good job of aggregating meetups from the other platforms so there’s a bunch of options in one place with good user interface. Its easy to rsvp, invite people, chat with people before the event, and post events. Something I really like is that there’s a good community of girls who host multiple hangouts every week (like hikes in the area, coworking sessions, embroidery party, etc). I’ve been to one so far (pool/board game party) and everyone there was super welcoming and down to earth.
