John Charcols' ID verification app is a quick and convenient way to verify your identity as part of the mortgage application process.
 
Why Is ID Verification Needed?
We need to verify that you are who you say you are. Your submission is validated against policies imposed on us under AML financial service regulations.
 
How Does It Work?
The process is simple and your submission should only take a few minutes to complete. You’ll be guided through the following steps:
 
1.	Upload a photo of an official ID document (we’ll let you know what document type is required)
2.	Snap a selfie
3.	Record a short video using on-screen prompts
