### 3/5 — Okay

*2026-07-22*

I dont understand why there is home and plan page. The data is overlapping on both pages. It would be nice as well if the plan adapts hourly. Eg if I do a small workout in the morning the planned training should change. Price is very high.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, we really appreciate it!

Great to hear you are enjoying the adaptive approach and the trainer control integration.

On outdoor power targets, the narrow tolerance is indeed harder to hit outdoors where wind, terrain and traffic naturally cause power to fluctuate. JOIN will look at the average power and the zone, it will not be strict if a zone is slightly missed but will adapt where needed.

On the Readiness feature, this has been resolved in a recent update and should now be accessible regardless of pending workout feedback.

On the missing start button for running sessions, JOIN currently only has a workout player for cycling. For running sessions you can follow the plan as a guide and log the session manually afterwards with your time and RPE.

If you have any further questions please reach out to us at support@join.cc and we will be happy to help.

Kind regards,
JOIN Support

### 4/5 — Good Value

*2026-04-19*

You can completely replace apps like Zwift with this as the workouts link to smart trainers. The AI planning is interesting and is OK. It woukd be great if it could connect to my Oura Ring as that would give me confidence that it’s giving me plans based on how my body is reacting

**Developer response:** Thank you for the great review and the kind words! Really glad to hear JOIN is working well with your smart trainer.

Connecting to Oura Ring is not something JOIN supports at the moment, but it is a fantastic suggestion and exactly the kind of feature that would add real value for a lot of users. We will pass this along to our product team as a feature request.

In the meantime, you can manually log your readiness data in JOIN each day, which allows the app to factor in how your body is feeling when adjusting your training plan.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-04-12*

Provides great feedback training plans and motivation for improving your fitness and achieving your goals

### 2/5 — It’s not for everyone

*2026-04-09*

What I like:
You have a huge selection of workouts that are easy to upload to your head unit, wahoo and training peaks both integrate well too.
There’s a huge range of goals including well known events/races and it gives you quite a clear training progress track towards your goal.
There’s a ‘level’ system which comes from where they think you need to be to achieve your cycling goal which makes things easy to see your progress.

What I don’t like:
There is such a limited amount of information, running Join and Training Peaks side by side gives me what I need but that’s an expensive way to do it. Seeing a bit of power/cadence/HR data for sessions and a few basic graphs would be much better than almost nothing.
Join’s AI is super conservative, having been coached by humans for a few years and understanding the load that is required to get the performance I’m after, Join suggests I’m overtraining or critically overtraining and tapers my week without asking me. If it would give you a heads up like ‘hey we think you’re doing a bit much, is it ok if we cut your workouts back a bit for the rest of the week Y/N?’ you’d be able to have a bit more control of the workload vs availability but doing a hard ride and feeling fine on a Tuesday and seeing it scrap the week before your eyes is pretty brutal.
It pretty heavily underutilises my availability and can’t seem to plan a workout with some sort of interval set in it.
I’ve achieved a level that was the ceiling for my training plan in the first three weeks (by consciously ‘overtraining’) and now it’s throttling me back to a maintenance schedule for the remaining 9 weeks, I’ve got an accurate FTP and set it to
advanced but it’s not encouraging me to go to a higher level again.

If it had a little more data it would be a one stop shop for self guided training I reckon. The workouts are great, the interface is nice and the price is right. I’ve gone from letting it tell me how to train when first starting (and being worried about the lack of work it wanted me to do) to programming my own weeks in using the workouts and knowledge of past programs, it means having Join suggest I’m overtrained constantly but feeling fine and seeing noticeable improvements on the bike as I move towards my goal. It works really well with the Wahoo Elemnt too which I haven’t always found with other systems.

**Developer response:** Thank you for such a detailed and balanced review, we really appreciate the time you have put into this!
It is great to hear the workout selection, integrations, and Wahoo compatibility are working well for you.
We are sorry to hear the experience has not fully met your expectations, particularly around the conservative load management and lack of detailed data. We would love to look into your specific settings and see if we can get things better calibrated for your fitness level and goals. Please do reach out to us directly at support@join.cc and we will dig into it with you.

In the meantime, have you had a chance to check out https://plan.join.cc/login? We released this a while back and it provides a lot more detail around your training data and progression, which may help address some of the visibility concerns you mentioned.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback, it genuinely helps us improve!

### 2/5 — No Apple Health integration

*2026-04-07*

I’m forced to load my workouts into Strava for it to read. It’s a step I don’t want and shouldn’t have to take. I don’t use Strava but this app forces me to.

Also, the team behind it makes Relive which reads Apple workouts so not sure why they can’t here. It’s feels like the developers are doing the bare minimum to keep it ticking over.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear this has been a frustrating experience.

It is worth clarifying that JOIN and Relive are two completely separate apps, so unfortunately the integrations available in one do not carry over to the other.

That said, we completely understand that having to use Strava as an intermediary is an extra step that not everyone wants. We appreciate you flagging this and will pass the request for direct Apple Health integration on to our product team for consideration.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, feedback like this genuinely helps us improve.

### 3/5 — Zones cibles très ( trop précises)

*2025-12-10*

### 3/5 — Sounded good, but not sure what is going on

*2025-10-20*

On the surface this sounds great. I don’t mind the apps simplistic design. However, I open the app and it perpetually says no workouts today and what is coming up and why is confusing to me. What’s next? That’s all I’m looking for. Is my FTP going to be calculated or not? Not sure, but 14 rides in it hasn’t populated. Forget the other metrics. On Connect+ I see what I did, what’s coming up with any swipes, and if I go to the calendar I see what the next few rides at least are going to be. What was the history and where is the data? I don’t get it. Am I supposed to do these other diagnostic workouts on the side unprompted? I just don’t understand my disconnect with this app. Probably just me

### 3/5 — To expensive for the features

*2025-10-01*

If you add strength training as well as running goals I will buy a yearly membership. Otherwise not worth it during the winter.

### 2/5 — Gute App, aber…

*2025-09-11*

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-09-09*

I’ve been using join since January this year and with already being a cyclist with multiple coaches I’d say for just over £10 a month you can’t go wrong. It has improved all my power zones and ftp from 325 to 342. There’s multiples plans you can pick whether you just wanna improve or if you wanna focus on an event. I think the main improvement I would go for is to have a calendar where you can input what races you are doing and your plan can adjust. Other than than it’s a great app that for the price is the best in the business.

### 4/5 — Still needs some adjustment

*2025-08-27*

Been using Join for few weeks and the algorithm needs some improvement. Normally train (and still do) with TrainingPeaks, the fatigue calculation between the 2 system is way off with Join (trust TP) and keep recommending to have rest days ( a bit like the Garmin 🤣). The training sessions a quite fun with variations

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — What is this?

*2026-05-11*

I was not too happy with TrainerRoad and heard some good things about Join. Download done and subscription active (because of course you need a subscription without a trial period, which would indicate trust in your own product. Should have been a red flag).

I have the plan, did my first two workouts. Workout 1 as scheduled and required. But no clue how Join assesses that workout. I have some numbers. Nothing else.

Workout 2, I needed to shorten. No way to change the workout prior. No clue or clear view on if that negatively affected the training from Joins perspective?

Workout 3: I would need to reschedule as i am traveling.

THERE IS NO WAY TO RESCHEDULE BY DESIGN WITH JOIN.

How can you look at that and think to yourself: „Yep, that looks about right!“?

17€ down the drain for this rubbish.

I think everybody is better advised with TrainerRoad or TrainingPeak. Heck, make your own training plan and you are better off.

Man. I seldomly write something about Apps. But Join really stirred the pot here.

**Developer response:** Hi Feldrin

Thank you for the honest feedback, we are sorry JOIN has not lived up to expectations so far.

A few quick clarifications that may help:
On workout assessment, submitting your RPE after each session is how JOIN evaluates your effort and adapts your plan going forward. The more feedback you give it the smarter it gets.

On shortening a workout, simply edit your availability for that day to reflect the time you have available and JOIN will automatically shorten the session to fit.

On rescheduling, the shuffle button on any planned session lets you swap it for a different workout that fits your day better. It is not drag and drop but it does give you flexibility within the plan.

We are sorry the sign up process was not clear enough regarding our trial period. We would like to offer you subscription extension so you can experience JOIN properly without any pressure. Please reach out to us directly at support@join.cc and we will get that set up for you right away.

Kind regards,
JOIN Support

### 1/5 — Wahoo Export funktioniert nicht

*2026-04-03*

### 1/5 — No Apple Health integration

*2025-12-06, version 9.7.0*

They’ve taken time to develop gift cards but don’t read data from Apple Health, like weight, or exercises.

### 1/5 — Unzureichend

*2025-12-03*

### 1/5 — App can’t even tell a Zone 2 from a HIIT training in my case

*2025-10-16*

Not sure if that is just me, but the historic workouts (and races) are categorised as endurance. Also, you can’t set your thresholds for power / HR if you know them from a lactate test / spirography. All in all it seems like a very weak value proposition to me

### 1/5 — More of the app is spent on getting referrals than cycling

*2025-10-07*

I really wanted to like the app, but I found it very confusing and light on cycling. The home page has more space given to subscribing or getting a referral than your actual training plan. I question the metric’s accuracy since they are significantly different than both Strava or Garmin. I’m sticking with TrainingPeaks for now.

### 1/5 — Advertises itself shamelessly on your Strava

*2025-09-14, version 9.5.5*

Without warning, Join went and changed all the descriptions in my PREVIOUS STRAVA activities. Adding links for my followers to get the app.
Ridiculous shameless advertising.

### 1/5 — Keine Verbindung mit Health

*2025-06-09*

### 1/5 — Not working and charged me despite trial

*2025-04-04*

App and concept is generally a good idea, but execution seems to be lacking.

Registered under the free trial but could not access any of the features, and was continiously asked to subscribe. So i did subscribe under the assumption that I would not be charged for the first 30 days. However, I was immediately charged for the month.

When contacting customer support, they told me I would need to resolve this with apple support. Big LOL, the fault was clearly done by the app and no chance of getting my money back from them. Will avoid this app and suggest for others to look for an alternative too.

### 1/5 — Too buggy to really recommend

*2025-03-09*

I think the underlying training makes sense but the app has too many bugs to be functional. Today for me it’s unusable as I need to swap a workout and it simply won’t work.

It’s also missing basic features from other apps like TrainerRoad or Intervals.icu - the ability to extend workouts on the fly or even to have a calendar of events and time off are missing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super

*2026-08-07*

### 5/5 — RPE for runs is way off

*2026-05-31*

I’ve tried adjusting for this multiple times. I’ve even tried to run much slower. However, it keeps suggesting that my RPE for my runs is always 8 to 10, when I typically feel between four and six.

### 5/5 — Happy with product

*2026-02-25*

I have been using JOIN for a month now and find it easy to use and massive fitness gains compared to the inbuilt training plans which are offered by other platforms.

Support is really helpful and responsive, Rohan did an amazing job assisting me with my support inquiry. There’s heaps of room for improvement for the app and UI which they seem to be listening to their users.

The changing landscape is what you get with JOIN compared to other apps where your plan is always moving with your lifestyle. Knowing when you’re doing too much, when to rest, etc is helpful. There is lots of info on their support page on how it all works too.

Highly recommend if you want your cycling to go to the next level, without breaking the bank!

### 5/5 — Flexibles Wintertraining

*2026-02-04*

### 5/5 — Great for training

*2025-12-22*

I really enjoy the workouts that Join creates and the ability to port them into any other platform. Definitely a good purchase.

### 5/5 — Simply the Best

*2025-12-10*

The perfect workout companion and it allows you to upload your Gym workouts.

### 5/5 — OK but not great…

*2025-12-01*

Heard of the app through the Lantern Rouge podcast. I like the plans and flexibility of missing a day, etc., but wish I could manually switch the rides around in a week block between days. I also use Wahoo SYSTM and can’t find many rides there that match the Join rides in my plan. The actual on-bike ride interface I find clunky and don’t like/. Prefer the Wahoo SYSTM interface. Ideally, more of the training plan elements would pull from SYSTM rides and could do them there.

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2025-10-18*

Finished week one of the trial and decided to go with Recovery Plan after a less than stellar 2025 season. Liking the intuitiveness of suggested workouts thus far and how easy it adjusts based on changing availabilities. Will report back after trial is done and again after FTP builder plan. More to come

### 5/5 — Best AI training app on the market

*2025-08-02*

Have been using it for exactly a year now, and it’s helped me make every workout count and keep me consistent. I’ve been riding for 10 years, and I’ve reached my best level because of this app.

### 5/5 — This has been the most consistent and best way to improve my fitness and cycling

*2025-06-28*

Just finished my first 3 month FTP builder plan and I feel way stronger on the bike with much more confidence. Training indoors to enjoy riding outdoor even more. The app is great, get busy or miss a day no big deal it will figure out what’s best for you tomorrow when you have more time. Much easier to use and see progress than using Zwift training, I still use Zwift to ride and import the Join workouts to zwift is super easy. 10/10 I’m totally hooked to Join.
