Approval processes for certifications are unclear and until you get certifications you really can’t do anything on the app. I’ve submitted for approval and was denied on 2 certifications and approved on 1. No clear reason for denial. I’ve spent the whole day trying to receive a verification code and I have yet to receive anything. ### 1/5 — One of the lowest offers app out there *2026-07-19, version 3.10.0* Not a big fan . U will get $5, $15 most $50 for your video and u will have to pay a high fee for the app. So as a UGC for 16 years this is the worse app to join if you are trying to make a living as a content creator !! Save your time. There are better ones out that ! ### 1/5 — Need Certificate for everything *2026-06-19, version 3.4.0* Not worth of time. Every job needs certifications and it’s very annoying. ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2026-06-01, version 3.1.0* The platform only allows creators to withdraw their earnings once per week unless they pay for a Creator subscription that costs nearly $500 per year. Expecting creators to pay hundreds of dollars just to access their own money more frequently is absurd. On top of that, many campaigns pay extremely poorly. Creating a TikTok video takes time, effort, filming, editing, and revisions, yet some campaigns offer as little as $5. That’s simply not fair compensation for the work creators put in. I was told I would be able to withdraw my funds on a certain date, but when I tried, I still couldn’t access them and was told to wait longer. Overall, the payment policies and creator compensation are very disappointing. I would not recommend this platform to serious content creators. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2026-05-16, version 2.17.0* You put in a ton of work to make videos etc just to be accepted for the certificates to apply for jobs you go through all of that then you don’t get any job offers even after applying to everything. Massive waste of time and energy unless you have a massive portfolio and lots of followers already ### 1/5 — Wouldn’t recommend *2026-05-14, version 2.16.8* This app has some weird AI-powered moderation going on that just makes everything difficult, clunky and not even worth the time and energy. Even your profile picture is “accepted or declined” on the basis of vague guidelines, seemingly no matter what. I’m submitting photos taken on an iPhone 17 so I know they’re not low resolution, lol. Support was no help either. Wouldn’t waste my time if I were you! ### 1/5 — App Developers got greedy *2026-02-27, version 2.16.2* JoinBrands was a platform for beginner UGC creators to get started in their portfolio, as well as finding new companies to connect with. It was a great app until they decided to come out with a paywall for early access to jobs that is $50 a month or nearly $500 annually! On top of the subscription fee, they take a 15% commission out of your earnings for doing the job, as well as charge the companies to be on the platform.
