It never works right and often has a mind of its own changing the lights to settings I don’t want. It has only gotten worse as the months have passed. I have the exact color I want, and it took a while to get it perfect. I would love to be able to have a quick access option. The one star comes from the overall failure for an ease-of-access app. It’s poorly made, the app hardly recognizes the simple click to select all or just a few of the lights, it always says that it cannot connect when it is connected. They truly don’t care about maintaining the app; I’m shocked it is still recommended by Amazon. String lights are timed to turn on and off in the evenings. Yes, the app interface is poorly designed but it does the job. It’s not like you’re hanging out in the app for more than a minute or so. ### 2/5 — Alexa Skill Doesn’t Work *2023-10-18* The color-changing Can Smart LED lights are beautiful in my 2nd story hallway, but like everyone has already reported, the Alexa skill just doesn’t work. I constantly get “device offline” or “server unresponsive”. Having to pull up the app to turn lights on/off or change colors defeats the purpose of a Smart Home.
