## What is Jolly Logic AltimeterThree?

This is the companion app for Jolly Logic's AltimeterThree, a tiny recording altimeter for hobby model flyers. It records altitude and acceleration for rockets, planes, quadcopters, gliders, kites, helicopters, and falcons.

Connect over Bluetooth, press Record, and the altimeter keeps recording even out of range. After the flight, download an interactive altitude chart. Rocket flights include full flight analysis. You can create and drag chart labels, and share the flight as a spreadsheet or chart image.

Your existing flights are kept. Cloud Sync backs them up and shares them across your devices. It includes FlightLab, a way to analyze and compare your flights and import flights from other altimeters.

Share a flight to Messages, Mail, and other apps.

The app is free. Recording requires an AltimeterThree from Jolly Logic or a reseller. If location is on, each flight location is saved on a map.

## Key features

- Wireless Bluetooth connection
- Real-time battery and status display
- Altitude and acceleration recording
- Interactive flight data graphs
- Data export for analysis
- Social media sharing of flight stats

### 5/5 — AltimeterThree

*2019-11-28*

Just got this for our rockets. My grandson wants to know “exactly” how high each launch goes! We get so much info from this little wonder instrument and it is so user-friendly. We are new to all this but we all agree every rocket has to be able to carry this and it is so simple to transfer.
Well worth the price of admission!👍😎

### 5/5 — We love our Altimeter 3

*2018-05-17*

I bought the Altimeter 3 from Jolly Logic as a gift for a high power rocketeer. He really likes it so far and this app has replaced the paper logs that he used to keep on each rocket. He uses the notes in the app to add the motor, ejection charge delay and other info. For that purpose, it would nice to have the ability to manually add a rocket/flight where you didn’t have the altimeter on board. He could add the old data which he references when preparing the rocket for a new flight.

### 1/5 — Release 3.0.5011 not fully functional

*2016-07-31*

The latest release 3.0.5011 does not record the whole kite flight. The previous version worked correctly and would record up to a 5 hour kite flight ( battery limited) but the new version stops recording in mid flight after about 1 hour. No release date for a fix is available from Jolly Logic

### 3/5 — Unresolved bug if battery dies

*2015-12-06*

I'd give this five stars, however, if the altimeter powers down due to a low battery, the user cannot retrieve the data. An update was promised months ago, but has yet to release.

Otherwise, if the altimeter has a normal event the data collected is very detailed, the altimeter is small enough for low power rockets, attached to small RC planes or quads, and records quite well on supersonic high power rockets.

### 5/5 — Great app for Rocketry

*2015-08-06*

I was VERY pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to pair with my new altimeter (jolly logic 3). The charts and mapping functions are nice. Also being able to share the data via email and such is handy. It even worked perfectly for a short "flight" of throwing the altimeter in the air a few feet. The reading was correct. I am very impressed.

### 5/5 — Very cool app for Rocket Launches!

*2015-04-05*

Tested today for first time and was very pleased! All worked well and better than expected!
