Then she stopped for about a year and when she came back the game had changed completely and all the doter’s she had made were gone, along with all the stuff she had bought and made. My child was asking the chatbot questions that were not appropriate and getting upset with it when it refused to answer. Even if it were worth it (which it’s not) I would never pay that much for any app. We enjoyed the app mostly for the game, it helped if parents are consistent with it. I would even consider paying a small amount monthly for it, just to keep my kid happy. The fact that the developer thinks it’s even close to $189 a month is a joke. Thanks for the measly discount offer ($130) 🤯 ### 1/5 — Cancelled-still billed *2026-02-09, version 4.91* This app was way too expensive for what you get. I cancelled it within 2 months of my daughter using it. I just got billed again even though it doesn’t show up in the Apple subscriptions. My card expired in their system and even then they billed me which means it IS tied to Apple subscriptions. I would like my refund as soon as possible. ### 3/5 — Pretty Good, But Not Improving *2026-01-17, version 4.90* Summary: this app is useful for tracking chores and giving rewards for completing them, but missing basic organizing for multiple kids, and focuses too much on the virtual pet. Best for younger children. Pros: overall easy chore management, kids and parents can all participate, rewards are nice and adjustable for lots of different purposes (trip to the candy aisle is a popular one here) Cons: too much focus on virtual pet. Kids are not nearly as interested in the pet as the development team seems to think, and simple features are missing such as the ability to rotate a chore between kids. The new update is trash, she lost half her dotors, they all lost their names and she hates the app now. My kids got attached to their Doters and were motivated to check in and care for them. The updates this fall ruined everything. I have emailed and I have called, both several times. I was charged $89 and I don’t know why I didn’t even know what this app was. I did not do the free trial and I cannot find where to cancel. It does not show that I have a subscription through my email or through my iPhone so I don’t know what else to do. App notified us that free trial was almost up so Cancelled as we weren’t using it much. Joon offered additional 7 day free trial so I thought we’d see during a more normal week. This time no reminder trial was up and charged for the whole year without anyway to cancel. Installation and set up was easy and it hasn’t slowed down their devices like some parental control apps.
