## What is Jot Timecards?

Jot is a timekeeping app for architecture and design firms that run on BQE Core. It is built for one job: getting the day’s hours into BQE quickly and accurately, from a phone, without re-typing.

Log time in three taps. Pick the project, pick the phase, tap the hours. Every entry needs a short note about what you worked on, and Jot suggests your recent notes so the right one is usually a single tap away. Entries post straight to BQE Core under your own account, and the week view shows what’s logged and what’s left, seven days a week.

Scan your notes. If you keep track of time on paper, photograph the page and Jot reads it, matches each line to your projects, and lays out the entries for you to check before anything is submitted. Nothing goes to BQE until you approve it.

Works offline. Entries made without a connection are saved on the phone and sent when you’re back online, and Jot makes sure each one lands exactly once.

Jot requires a BQE Core account at a firm that uses Jot. It is not a standalone timekeeping tool and cannot be used without one.
