Unfortunately, this most recent version routinely crashes before the scanned document is processed. For whatever reason, as soon as you hit the process button for the most recent scanned document(s), the app crashes. Idk why it happens every time on the first attempt to process docs, but once you reopen the app and rescan the documents, the second attempt to process the most recent docs works. It’s kinda bizarre but that has been my experience the past dozen or so times I’ve used this app. Once they inevitably fix this issue that has been plaguing this app for the past several months, this is a 5 star app! Scans beautifully and saves me having to buy a scanner for the occasional copying I need to do. Takes multiple pages and then I can email them to anyone. Upload is fast and easy (I upload to my local WD CLOUD). You can also upload all scanned docs to the cloud. Can choose what format to save. Just so useful for uncluttered office at home. I use it for: capture all plastic cards, receipts, what to buy (take pictures) Documents, all Organized in folders, blood tests, bank statements, Bills, what not? The above was years ago. Still the best app. However, recently, when you try to scan a business card the camera shows a blared picture. The solution is to take a picture with iPhone camera and then choose a picture to scan. Please if possible maybe in next update *Add import pdf file from device to export to jpg conversion to save back to device photo library etc location (instead of low resolution screen shots I’m currently using which lack quality on zoom) thanks! ### 2/5 — Recent updates have broken this app. *2024-06-05, version 5.1.4* I have convinced at least five people to buy this pro version. No more. I work in a field where I'm often compiling shipping documents, receipts, etc. This app used to have a lot of functionality where you could import images and adjust the cropping individually and then process into multi page pdf.. Now it automates so much that it imports all the images at once, then you can adjust the cropping on the final page and none of the preceding ones. Now I am forced to import one image at a time, make a single page pdf, export it to my PC. Then when I have a my documents converted, I combine. It's a giant waste of time. App rot where people can't just leave something that works great, without tinkering. really stinks. ### 2/5 — Works half of the time *2024-04-18, version 5.1.4* Takes great pictures, but the whole point is to be able to email them. I’m going on hour 12 now of trying to email this. I’ve tried to send it to multiple emails. This happens about half of the time, and I just have to keep trying until it randomly works again. ### 4/5 — Love the app but not with the new iPhone cameras. *2024-04-10, version 5.1.4* I have used this app for years and love it. Unfortunately last year I purchased an iPhone 14 Pro and with the Macro/Wide Screen option camera on the 14 Pro I cannot get a good focused scan. It is either too far away or too close to capture the whole document. I wonder if the developer will update with a fix for the new iPhones cameras. I just went to the developer's website which is only a one page site and the email link is not good. Checked your faq page and you really should advise customers to back up their files first before they get a new phone. I’m really hoping my files aren’t lost I will be very upset! ### 1/5 — Don’t expect to use with Google Drive *2024-09-28, version 5.1.4* I had linked this app with my Google Drive account a year or two and then a few months ago, I had to reauthenticate and couldn’t. Google warned me that the JotNot Pro was trying to access sensitive data from my Google account and hadn’t been verified. I notified the app developer, who replied they’d get verified ASAP. Now Google blocks access without the verification warning. Not cool for a paid app that advertises this functionality. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work 100% of the time *2024-03-09, version 5.1.4* I tried to be persistent and expect improvements but this app simply does not work on any of my IOS devices, Period. You go through the efforts of preparing a fax only to get to the send part and it fails.
