## What is Jotsky?

Jotsky is a nice place to read and write — stories, opinions, PSAs, or anything you'd like. You swipe through a stack, and what you read and enjoy decides what you're shown next.

Consider joining our independently-produced digital writing collective.

Based in Seattle.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-03

What's New

Bigger text, one tap. A new key on the rail of every jot enlarges all the text in Jotsky, and stays that way until you turn it off.

Also in this update:

The composer keeps your cursor in the middle of the page as you write.
You can scroll the composer with your finger on an image.
Leaving an edit of a published jot asks whether to replace an older saved edit of it.
Drafts can be deleted from their tap menu, and a restored jot comes back as a draft.
The PSA description in "The types of Jots" is no longer cut off.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-02

A cleaner writing space and a steadier reading rail.

• The rail tab now moves up above the keyboard when you write, so you can always hide or show the rail.
• Hiding the rail now stays hidden as you move from jot to jot.
• The writing screen has a slimmer header and toolbar, giving your words more room.
• Hiding and showing the rail is now instant when reading and writing.
• Jot headers have a tidier dateline and more room in the top bar.
• Polls now sit centred on the page.
• Small fixes and performance improvements.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-26

New: the Notepad. Tap it on the composer rail for a spiral pad of stationery pages — your own scratch paper for thoughts, threads and reminders while you write. Flip pages, hold the arrows to riffle through them, and keep your Sources on a page of their own. Readers can find a jot's sources from its ⋯ menu, which is now organised into sections.

Plus assorted fixes and polish.
