Also I have enabled Face ID and it doesn’t work either ### 2/5 — Great People in Local Banks, Lousy Banking App *2021-10-25* First of all, let me say that this is a review of the app, not the bank. I wish that everyone could have access to the in-person help that First Columbia Bank provides. However, I do not recommend downloading their mobile app. 1. My most recent gripe is that the app doesn’t give adequate instructions about depositing a check. I recently deposited a check which was declined in the because I didn’t write enough information on the back of the check for them to accept the mobile deposit. While the app does give instructions about depositing checks, the instructions are abnormal compared with the several other banking apps I use for depositing checks. A visual example of how they want checks signed would help. 2. The app doesn’t allow for additional principal payment toward a loan. 3. The app requires a password change every six months but they don’t integrate with Apple’s password management system. Furthermore, their website version restricts pasting into the “new password” field which makes it difficult to update the bank password in a password management system. The bank also does not accept Apple’s suggested passwords. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work anymore *2019-05-05* I got a new phone and the app no longer works which is a pretty big inconvenience seeing as it takes 10 minutes to sign on on the web page. ### 2/5 — Can someone update the app?? *2018-12-02* Got a new iPhone and your app no longer works. This app has the feel and look of a high school coding project. I can only hope the transactions are secure. ### 1/5 — User Interface *2025-05-14, version 6.0.0.5696* Most banking apps allow you to sign in with a pin. Not this one. It’s the typical username and password. Half of the time the app never saves my username and NEVER allows to save for my password. Very inconvenient for customer sign-in alone. Then you have the app itself; It feels like it was designed on purpose to have absolutely zero options for online banking. I’m used to the app by now but it’s not easy to navigate compared to other banks’ apps. Options are in places they shouldn’t be, there’s a sign out button at the top right for absolutely no reason at all. Anyone using a mobile app will never be actively looking for a sign out button. So that’s already a feature and wasted space taken up on my screen. I constantly get this feeling that the only thing it allows me to do is stare at my balance, make a mobile deposit (poorly), and check my past 5 transactions - unless I click a little blue link that lets me choose more than 5, which the default should automatically be set to more than 5! Just keep scrolling and it’ll give you more transactions, simple. ### 1/5 — Buggy and bad layout *2025-05-11* Doesn’t remember Face ID; Annoying and buggy.
