## What is Journeyman Field Pro Electric?

Journeyman Field Pro puts electrical and low-voltage calculations, a plain-language code assistant, and field guides in one app — fast, accurate, and offline on the job.

ELECTRICAL — 9 CALCULATORS
- Voltage Drop (single & 3-phase, copper/aluminum)
- Wire Sizing (ampacity check with bundle derating)
- Conduit Fill (EMT, IMC, RMC, PVC)
- Ohm's Law (solve V, I, R, or P)
- Load Calculator (service sizing, 125% rule)
- Conduit Bending (offsets, saddles, 3-point, 4-point)
- Box Fill (NEC 314.16 volume method)
- Motor FLA (conductor & OCPD sizing)
- NEC Quick Reference

LOW VOLTAGE — 9 CALCULATORS
- Fire Alarm Voltage Drop (NFPA 72 NAC)
- Camera Power / Voltage Drop
- PoE Budget (IEEE 802.3 af/at/bt)
- DC Wire Sizing
- Battery Backup (standby + derate)
- Strobe / Candela Spacing
- Cable Pull Tension
- Speaker Line Loss (70V + low-impedance)
- LV Quick Reference

ASK THE CODE — AI ASSISTANT
Ask a question in plain English and get an answer with the exact NEC or NFPA 72 article reference. Pick your code edition. No more flipping through a codebook on a ladder.

FIELD GUIDES
Short, plain-language how-to guides written for working techs — voltage drop, wire sizing, motor circuits, PoE budgeting, grounding vs bonding, strobe placement, and more. Each one ends with the key takeaways.

SAVE & ORGANIZE
Save any result or code answer and pull it back up later — all stored on your device, available offline. Star your go-to calculators to pin them to the top.

BUILT FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
A layout that makes real use of the screen, whether you're on a phone in your pouch or an iPad in the truck.

No account, no login, no sign-up. The calculators and guides work with no internet connection at all.
