Though developers I would like to state this to you that your account creation system lacks proper security. Anyone can mass create accounts and ruin the entire system of bonuses/rewards for everyone. I recommend a better data tracking software or something to stop the potential for botted users. I really like the app though and keep up the amazing work! ### 3/5 — Add smoker options *2026-03-14, version 21.5.0* Love the app but I have so many recipes for my Traeger smoker that I need a place for! ### 2/5 — Good service, terrible app *2026-01-19* I have several devices so I signed in using my grocery account on multiple, and Jow did not recognize them as the same. So I signed in using gmail and now information syncs across, but even though I have signed in with a grocer, it still has been asking me to sign in on that part again. There does not seem to be a way to load a favorited recipe in to the grocery list. I picked several recipes and it made a shopping list but there’s NO buttons to turn the shopping list into a grocery order. And if I start at the grocery tab and add a recipe, I have to try to remember which ones I had picked out to cook. The user experience in this app is just … very very bad. And it keeps talking about giving me credits when the app seems to be free. I don’t mind paying a subscription for this in the future if it’s going to be reasonable and if you get all the bugs worked out. The meals I’ve tried are good and healthy and I love the idea that I can just pick something to cook and it loads it to my grocer and I can pick up everything I need later in the day. I am sticking it out but currently I have to fight with the app to do make it do that. ### 3/5 — Just downloaded this to try and I have suggestions *2026-01-14, version 18.4.0* This looks handy to use and my daughter is enjoying it but I have some dietary restrictions and this isn’t well supported in the app. I have allergies and there’s no place to list these. I put the major category of allergies in the ‘dislikes’ section and the first recipe I looked at has an ingredient from that category. I have acid reflux and there’s no option to say ‘no spicy foods’. I think I can make the app useful to me but it’s going to take work. The recipes do look tasty though. ### 2/5 — Loved it at first but now buggy *2026-01-05, version 18.2.0* I made my first order and the recipes were all great! Now when I go in it keeps telling me I have to add an address in Instacart (I already have one) or it tries to get me to sign into Instacart again and just gets stuck endlessly loading. Tried to report the bug but there’s zero way to do so on the website! Par contre, nous vivons à deux et il est vraiment compliqué de partager le même compte : impossible d’être connectés en même temps, ce qui enlève beaucoup d’intérêt. Est-ce que vous envisagez de développer une option “compte partagé” ou “famille” pour que plusieurs utilisateurs d’un même foyer puissent accéder aux menus et listes de courses en temps réel ? Ce serait un vrai plus ! ### 5/5 — Jow has brought me routine in my diet *2025-09-13, version 17.15.0* As someone who works a 9-5 (which is now 8-5 these days let’s be real), Jow is the exact product I look to try out to ease my stress and load both in my personal and professional life. I am able to meal prep for every meal that I can eat at home, on the go, at the office, etc. I ultimately save money as well as time by not buying miscellaneous groceries all the time multiple times a week and not using certain items. It causes so much anxiety I just end up eating something terrible for me as well as unsatisfying. This allows me to choose easy meals ahead of time so I never get overwhelmed by the options as well as curates my grocery list so I don’t waste money on impulse purchases. Depuis quand !! *2025-09-21* J utilisais l application y a quelques années sans soucis, et là je reviens c est devenu payant ?? ### 1/5 — Petty Karens who intentionally prevent code usage *2025-07-22, version 17.10.0* If you piss off the customer service at Kow or give their ‘support’ a low rating, they WILL deliberately BLOCK your account from using anymore codes. I used Jow and their new member coupon codes a month ago. I placed one other then placed another a few days later. When i tried to use a $50 code for a third order the following week it wouldn’t go through…kept getting a payment fail issue (nothing was wrong with my card). reached out to Jow and said they were not honoring codes she got snooty and said it was probably the card/supermarket and there was no more codes at this time. Fine. i was irritated but i moved. Fast forward a few more weeks, saw there were codes for $20 on my local digital page, everyone was able to use ANY of the different $20 codes, some were even STACKING codes, people were placing multiple orders. I, on the hand, could not even get ONE to work. Finally, reached out to jow, and the Karen called Emma replied that ‘i am no longer eligible based on my order count’!! i placed TWO orders!!! This tells me they INTENTIONALLY and DELIBERATELY blocked my account from accessing the discounts. Jow your practices are shameful, disappointing and petty. ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2025-07-18, version 17.9.0* Made an order, selected time slot for curbside, showed up and was told that Jow did not submit my order completely and they couldn’t pick it although Jow charged me for it. Wasted my time, gas, and money. ### 1/5 — Total scam *2025-06-23* This app is a scam and a classic bait-and-switch. I earned $31 in rewards by completing tasks, only to wake up and find it slashed to $6 with no warning. Don’t waste your time or effort — everything you earn can disappear overnight without explanation. Total scam. Avoid this app. When I reached out, they gave me a $10 coupon and called it “compensation.” That’s not even close to what I earned. This wasn’t a glitch or a misunderstanding — it was a deliberate change they made after people had already earned rewards under their system. That’s misleading and feels like theft. Their response claimed the marketing operation “ended” and that they’ve “taken feedback seriously,” but what they haven’t done is take responsibility. You don’t change the rules after the fact and expect users to just accept it. Bottom line: Don’t waste your time on Jow’s tasks or challenges. They can — and will — change your earned rewards without warning. It’s a shady practice and a huge breach of trust. I won’t be using this app again. On top of that, they make you subscribe to marketing emails to participate in promotions — but there’s no unsubscribe link in the emails. I just randomly opened it and am amazed at what this app does for free. I picked recipes that I liked, it made me a shopping list for those recipes, then connected with Kroger to set up my order.
