There’s no obvious reason a shopping app should automatically request access to whatever happens to be on my clipboard simply because I’ve opened it. I’ve now permanently denied clipboard access in iOS. I’d like Joybuy to explain why this happens and remove the automatic clipboard request. Joybuys own customer service doesn’t give a toss and keeps telling me it’s the sellers responsibility even though it’s through their platform and the seller isn’t refunding me. Luckily it was only £20 but still it’s a useless platform for when something goes wrong with a purchase so be warned you might be able to get that item a lot cheaper through Joybuy but when it turns up not working, you ain’t getting your money back! ### 1/5 — The customer service is rubbish. *2026-09-01, version 1.0.98* Contacted the customer service several times for different issues, most of them didn’t get sorted properly. It seems that their customer support doesn’t really understand the whole situation rather than blaming the customers. ### 1/5 — No Free Delivery with Membership *2026-08-30, version 1.0.97* I’m with joy buy for over 2 years unfortunately this app is no more worth to attach with. They charge you delivery charges even with plus membership and it took me 7 months to lose hope to get back my delivery charges. Customer service agents are useless and they don’t have capacity to resolve any issues for you and always put you on 48 hours window for months and let the issue continue. Their backend team never resolve any issues or respond any issues for you and treat every request like garbage. I finally ended up including my family from JoyBuy and start our journey back to Amazon Prime where prices are way cheaper and customer service is super high quality. Driver could not find my flat and I had to go downstairs to direct him to the correct location. Then he tried to leave the boxes there rather than delivering to my flat despite there is a lift. When I politely asked him to take these upstairs, he complained the boxes “are not that heavy”. Very unprofessional attitude and behaviour. The boxes may not be heavy for him, but not for a lady who is not in his height/weight. I’d expect better service. ### 1/5 — Bad service *2026-08-26, version 1.0.97* ⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing customer service I rarely leave negative reviews, but this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. I ordered and paid £22.39 for 20kg of rice but only received 5kg. I contacted Joybuy on 15 August to report the missing 15kg. Since then, I have spoken to multiple different customer service agents. I was repeatedly told that the issue was being investigated and asked to wait — first 1–2 days, then another 24–48 hours. Every time I contacted them again, a different agent seemed to start the same process all over again. After more than a week, I made a formal complaint. Eventually I was offered a £17 refund for the missing rice, which I accepted. I then received another message saying their system couldn’t process the partial refund and asking whether they could refund me “using other products”. I asked them to explain what this meant and to confirm that the £17 would be returned to my original payment method. Once again, another agent appeared and asked me to wait while they read through the chat history. At this point, I have given up. The £17 is not the issue. It is simply not worth spending any more of my time chasing it. What is disappointing is how a very simple problem — paying for 20kg and receiving only 5kg — has taken so many messages, so many different agents and so much of my time without being properly resolved. I was initially happy to try Joybuy, but after this experience I would be very hesitant to order from them again.
